John Austin tickles the ivories at this piano bar from Wednesday through Saturday, but the real attraction is the Carousel Bar & Lounge itself at Hotel Monteleone. It's a carousel and really does revolve - all the time. The music goes until late and the cocktails served are out of this world like the "Truffletini" which is a mix of Bailey's Irish Cream with liqueurs. The ambiance has a slight feel of a Moulin Rouge setting, with bold lighting and motifs.

We had an amazing stay! Loved every minute of it!
Great place to stay, everything you could ever want is just steps outside the lobby! Suite is very roomy, comfortable and quiet. Good food, very friendly staff. Can't wait to do it again!
Thanks for the Monteleone for responding to my realistic comments. It dealt with the lack of effort on their part to work with me for NYE reservations. I got the run around and posted the comment. To their credit they did send me a couple of emails explaining their policy. Mike Seippel
Beautiful hotel, friendly and helpful staff, perfect location! Would stay there again on next visit.
Hotel is nice but I was awaken at night because of the fire alarm going off

Went for an evening with friends for drinks and live music. Historic New Orleans!
I went last Mardi Gras with a friend it was the first time I had ever stayed there.. I really enjoyed every minute of it the rooms were comfortable and I slept like a baby.. It is close to everything you are walking distance to just about all the parades would go back again..
