John Austin tickles the ivories at this piano bar from Wednesday through Saturday, but the real attraction is the Carousel Bar & Lounge itself at Hotel Monteleone. It's a carousel and really does revolve - all the time. The music goes until late and the cocktails served are out of this world like the "Truffletini" which is a mix of Bailey's Irish Cream with liqueurs. The ambiance has a slight feel of a Moulin Rouge setting, with bold lighting and motifs.

This is the best place to stay in Orleans, ask for Hotel Al he is the greatest, but all the staff is top notch.

My husband&i...love♡the king size bed room..friendly stuff.clean room,clean pool clean everywhere etc♡love the hotel with the nice unique bar&we like cory the bartender...anyway just second away walk to the shopping&party area....if your looking 4 a nice hotel..this is a place to go to.....this is recommended from our friend kr so we stay here&i now 100% recommended this to everyone♡♡♡
Perfect location, very friendly staff, and nice rooms for an older hotel.
Love the ambience this hotel provides...from the moment you step into the lobby to all the fine service touches sprinkled throughout your stay. I will definitely be back and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in NOLA to have a fully immersed experience!

I absolutely loved the hotel!! It was my 1st time staying there and it was for my birthday! The door men were sooo nice and welcoming! I'm only giving a 4 star rating though bc the lady at the front desk was pretty rude! :-\ Maybe she was having a bad day...but other than that it was great!! The bed was super comfy!
