John Austin tickles the ivories at this piano bar from Wednesday through Saturday, but the real attraction is the Carousel Bar & Lounge itself at Hotel Monteleone. It's a carousel and really does revolve - all the time. The music goes until late and the cocktails served are out of this world like the "Truffletini" which is a mix of Bailey's Irish Cream with liqueurs. The ambiance has a slight feel of a Moulin Rouge setting, with bold lighting and motifs.

We stayed 1/13/17-1/16/17 in Room 960 - a single King room. We had a wonderful time! We were attending a book launch that brought over 600 people to their hotel ball rooms, and the hotel handled all the extra people beautifully. The staff was always courteous and helpful. Gorgeous hotel and room. Located on Antique Row. Great shops n restaurants walking distance. Jackson Square close. Bourbon St one block away but wasn't impacted by it. Staff was awesomely awesome.
I've stayed here a few times and it's always amazing. And the Carousel Bar is a must, especially if it's your first time visiting!
fantastic hotel, service was extraordinary! took my whole department for work meeting and stayed three nights, best off site meeting to date, and so close to everything in the quarter!
