John Austin tickles the ivories at this piano bar from Wednesday through Saturday, but the real attraction is the Carousel Bar & Lounge itself at Hotel Monteleone. It's a carousel and really does revolve - all the time. The music goes until late and the cocktails served are out of this world like the "Truffletini" which is a mix of Bailey's Irish Cream with liqueurs. The ambiance has a slight feel of a Moulin Rouge setting, with bold lighting and motifs.

Spent last weekend at Hotel Monteleone. We ate and wandered all through the French Quarter. On previous trips we have had beverages in the carousel bar, but this was our first time staying at the hotel. Beautiful place, we’ll be back!

Great location and a beautiful hotel. Being able to have access to the Carousel Bar all the time was great. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Only a couple of complaints: it took until almost 5:00 pm a couple of days for our room to be cleaned! Also, the toilet seat was a cheap plastic thing that would move every time you sat on it! Excellent hotel at affordable rates in the perfect spot in the French quarter. Book without hesitation. We stayed on the 15th floor and it was wonderful. Very attentive staff extremely comfortable beds.
Hotel is beautiful! Great staff. Pillows could be much better for the price and free water bottles were not offered like other hotels in the quarter in the same price range. Overall excellent!!

Hotel is awesome, but room was way too small, no fan in bathroom, really ? Overall it was still really good.
