John Austin tickles the ivories at this piano bar from Wednesday through Saturday, but the real attraction is the Carousel Bar & Lounge itself at Hotel Monteleone. It's a carousel and really does revolve - all the time. The music goes until late and the cocktails served are out of this world like the "Truffletini" which is a mix of Bailey's Irish Cream with liqueurs. The ambiance has a slight feel of a Moulin Rouge setting, with bold lighting and motifs.

Hotel was very beautiful but the service was not so great. We accidentally left the “do not disturb” sign on the door from the first night there and didn’t get housekeeping services that day - which is understandable. However, we didn’t get any the next day either. No bed made, no fresh towels or enother roll of toilet paper even! Also, the bathroom was way too small - no space for anything on or around the sink which sucks when you’re staying there for several days.

I’ve never stayed at the hotel but have come to experience the carousel many times. The bartenders and waitresses are always top notch and the drink quality is 💯. I always look forward to a stop here!
