John Austin tickles the ivories at this piano bar from Wednesday through Saturday, but the real attraction is the Carousel Bar & Lounge itself at Hotel Monteleone. It's a carousel and really does revolve - all the time. The music goes until late and the cocktails served are out of this world like the "Truffletini" which is a mix of Bailey's Irish Cream with liqueurs. The ambiance has a slight feel of a Moulin Rouge setting, with bold lighting and motifs.

Recently attended conference from the time Michael quickly gathered our bags telling us about the history of the hotel, to Ms Anita the concierge how swiftly addressed our every need to Nolan who not only provided us with directions but also suggestions and made sure we were heading the right way. For a business trip, I’ve never felt more pampered. Wonderful staff, hotel and The people of New Orleans very welcoming. Definitely will return.

This weekend I celebrated my birthday in New Orleans and had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel all of the staff are friendly and helpful. I would like to thank Corey (bartender), Kenya, Noel and Cedrick (baggage check and doorman). The reviews online does not give this hotel justice. I had an amazing stay here during Essence Festival Weekend. The staff goes above and beyond and are so friendly; especially Adam at the front door! I can’t wait to come back!
