John Austin tickles the ivories at this piano bar from Wednesday through Saturday, but the real attraction is the Carousel Bar & Lounge itself at Hotel Monteleone. It's a carousel and really does revolve - all the time. The music goes until late and the cocktails served are out of this world like the "Truffletini" which is a mix of Bailey's Irish Cream with liqueurs. The ambiance has a slight feel of a Moulin Rouge setting, with bold lighting and motifs.

they were making a movie. and there was an amazing funeral for Pete Fountain which culminated in the hotel.

Visit was in June. THE best Hotel ever ! I won’t be staying anywhere else next time I’m in town ! Wonderful restaurant and fabulous room service !
Just attended an event in one of the reception rooms. The room was decorated beautiful and very clean. The food was good and the service was great. The staff was on point in every category. The bar and food attendants all did an excellent job. The restrooms were near by and Fresh and Clean (which is a deal breaker for me). Considering booking my next event there. RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Best hotel in New Orleans
Beautiful hotel. Excellent service. We’re here. We’re here now for four nights....My only issue is we paid for a preferred room which doesn’t offer a preferred view as advertised. Plenty of roof tops! Over all excellent place. Dan Riggins
We only got to stay one night but it was an amazing night! This is a beautiful hotel! Very clean & they spoil you here with turndown service, mints on your pillow & your robes laid out on the bed(which is super comfy btw!) for you! My husband & I really enjoyed our stay and do plan to return in the future! We were in room 968. There wasn’t much of a view(the bottom window pane was frosted but that didn’t bother us.
