John Austin tickles the ivories at this piano bar from Wednesday through Saturday, but the real attraction is the Carousel Bar & Lounge itself at Hotel Monteleone. It's a carousel and really does revolve - all the time. The music goes until late and the cocktails served are out of this world like the "Truffletini" which is a mix of Bailey's Irish Cream with liqueurs. The ambiance has a slight feel of a Moulin Rouge setting, with bold lighting and motifs.

I had my 50th bday celebration here and it was wonderful!
Lovely staff. Great bar. Parker was the best. Loved him!! I forgot something in my room, I called from the airport and the mailed it to me that day. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Thank you for a great stay!
Housekeeping used our phone charger while we were out and left their phone in our room. SO unprofessional and we've heard NOTHING at all from the manager after complaining. I've never felt so violated and intruded on my privacy and possessions.

I LOVE THIS FUN PLACE TO GO DANCING. THE CARASEL BAR IS ONE OF A KIND. I WILL ALWAYS VISIT THIS COOL BAR.
I have stayed at the Monteleone at least once a year for the last 13 years. I have never had an experience that wasn't spectacular from start to finish. From the garage attendants to the doormen to the bellmen to the front desk to the catering staff - always above and beyond. Plus, there's the most beautiful lobby and coolest bar in all of NOLA!! Will be back next weekend. Can't wait.
Beautiful place, french theme, in the French Quarter, peaceful and relaxing
Our last visit to Hotel Monteleone was nice. The people are always friendly. This is the hospitality you expect from New Orleans. I highly recommend this Hotel when you visit the "Big Easy."
