John Austin tickles the ivories at this piano bar from Wednesday through Saturday, but the real attraction is the Carousel Bar & Lounge itself at Hotel Monteleone. It's a carousel and really does revolve - all the time. The music goes until late and the cocktails served are out of this world like the "Truffletini" which is a mix of Bailey's Irish Cream with liqueurs. The ambiance has a slight feel of a Moulin Rouge setting, with bold lighting and motifs.

The Monteleone is my favorite hotel anywhere in the world. It's simple,elegant,immaculate, and as the most unique restaurants, bars, like the carousel. More people have the Monteleone as their greatest memory. When my daughter was getting married it was 2005. The gracious staff was so helpful while we planned the wedding exiled in Texas. If you want be treated like you own the place, this is the worryless atmosphere of the Hotel Monteleone.

Love love love this hotel. Not to mention that it is dog friendly, but, everything brand new and friendly staff.
The staff greeted up with genuine warmth and good manners. Our room was not ready and we were tired from a long trip but our wait was not long. The rooms are not huge but very comfortable and beautiful. Loved our stay!
Couldn't have had a nicer stay. Friendly staff very accommodating.
When we went to check in their system was down, so we were given 2 drink vouchers for our troubles, but given no ETA and told "We'll call you" when it was up. 2 hours later we came back to get something out of our luggage and notice people are checking in. Still, no call. But finally get to our room at about 530 and discover trash still in the trash cans and floors that didnt even look vaccuumed. And if they were, it was impossible to tell because they were stained and dirty to the point you couldnt see parts of the pattern.... read more
