Treats their Chronic Pain & Fibromyalgia patients like Drug Addicts Im a mom of 2 and a nurse. I went to see Dr. Singh at first all was great he dx'd me with Fibromyalgia. I had 2 MRI's, trigger point inj, Facet block which hurt more than it helped, lab work, and x-rays. I tried every medication he wanted me to for at least 3 weeks before reporting any side effects. Run In The Opposite Direction of CBI! This place is a joke! They will be so eager to rec'd shots, meds, and anything else that they can bill to insurance but that will not help you. They do not warn you of all of the side effects and negative aspects of epidural injections but will freely 'shoot you up' without a second thought. I have known patients to go there and the doctors don't even have MRI results to know exactly what they are treating. Patient beware....this place is an insurance sucking institution!
Find a different practice! I saw Dr. Duncan. She was short and rude to me. She asked about my pain. I told her it was difficult to bend because of the pain. She asked me to bend and touch my toes. I did and she rudely said, "I thought you couldn't bend." Geez, I said it hurt to bend, not that I couldn't do it. She barely examined me and told me to get injections which my insurance didn't cover much of so I couldn't afford at that time. The Best This institute is very well run from the front desk to the doctors office as well as the physical theraphy area. Caring and very professional people as well as knowledgable. They request tests be done only when necessary. It is a wonderful place to learn how to get back into shape after accidents or just the aging process. I see them as helping older people as well as younger ones. The institute itself is very clean.
carolina back are drug pushers Just want to share with everyone my experience with you regarding the Carolina Back Institute.. My husband has been seeing them for 3 years and they have turned him into a lying Kniving drug addict. They do nothing but administer pain medication likes it's a good thing. They turmed a decent man into a lying disgusting drup addict and they have destroyed my marriage. They should be jailed as drug peddlers. It's nothing more than legalized drug pushing....disgraceful and unwarranted.
Amazing! I have suffered from neck and shoulder pain for years. I had a lot of knots in my neck and in between my shoulder blades and the area was very sore to the touch. I went to Carolina Back Institute and the doctor gave me trigger point injections. That was over a year ago and the pain has not come back! I highly recommend Carolina Back Institute to anyone w/ back or neck pain. They are amazing!
Horrible! # User Rating: 1 out of 5 stars by Karen 03/16/2011 I would not recommend this place for anyone in pain or with chronic pain. I was treated like a drug addict. The dr dx me with referred severe pelvic pain that radiated down my legs which caused constant pain, I could not work out, sit for a long time, trouble sleeping etc. She started me on a narcotic, not a large amount either and when i would request a refill or a change they would call me in for a drug screen. Do Not Go To Carolina Back Institute of Cary, North Carolina My wife was seen at this place. They gave her a shot in her back , next to the spine and nerve. Told her to come back in two weeks for another. Mind you, these shots are over a $1000.00 each time. They wanted her to have physical therapy to help her. They even had a MRI of her back that they requested her to have. They prescribe pain meds, mind you, you have to sign a form only for them to prescribe pain medication. DDG Raleigh I've been to doctor after doctor wasn't getting any relief!! Seen Dr Godbout...in short...He took time to explain the problems and actually gave me options! It wasn't overnight but,over time I've gotten much better! I would send my best friend there!
