Back is Better! Staff is great and I FINALLY found someone to fix my back! It only took me one phone call to get an appointment.
-frustrated and in pain I've had upper back pain for 20+yrs. I've been to many drs. They tell me I'm going to have good days and bad days, and dx bone degenerative disease and possible compressed nerve. My husband insisted I go to CBI because they adverise great new procedures that help when other drs are unable to. Well they sounded just like all the other doctors I've ever been to. Treats their Chronic Pain & Fibromyalgia patients like Drug Addicts Im a mom of 2 and a nurse. I went to see Dr. Singh at first all was great he dx'd me with Fibromyalgia. I had 2 MRI's, trigger point inj, Facet block which hurt more than it helped, lab work, and x-rays. I tried every medication he wanted me to for at least 3 weeks before reporting any side effects. He has since put me on Vicodin, I have been on and off pain meds since I was 16 for various medical issues, so Im on Vicodin for about6-9 months, and he adjusts ... read more
carolina back are drug pushers Just want to share with everyone my experience with you regarding the Carolina Back Institute.. My husband has been seeing them for 3 years and they have turned him into a lying Kniving drug addict. They do nothing but administer pain medication likes it's a good thing. They turmed a decent man into a lying disgusting drup addict and they have destroyed my marriage. They should be jailed as drug peddlers. It's nothing more than legalized drug pushing....disgraceful and unwarranted.
Duncan doughnuts would have helped more I had the same experience with Dr Duncan. She was in a hurry, completely rude when I asked questions dismissing me like I am an idiot for asking about my condition. She gave me little hope for relief.

Thank You Carolina Back Institute! My experience with The Carolina Back Institute was excellent. I did not even make an appointment and I was seen within 20 minutes. The staff was very professional and caring. I could hardly move my head when I walked in and after the injections, some meds and some rest I am back to work and feel almost 100%. Beware! This place is a JOKE!!!! I saw Dr. Duncan many times, after an MRI, facet, and epidural injections, and being prescribed Vicodin, and going to physical therapy religiously, I was treated like a common drug addict! Dr. Duncan has absolutely no compassion or bedside manner, i am a nurse and can say from experience, that she is not a doctor i would recommend. One visit, she had the NERVE to tell me she saw a Dr. Phil episode about mothers addicted to Vicodin, and she compared me to one of his patients! I have documented... read more
Run In The Opposite Direction of CBI! This place is a joke! They will be so eager to rec'd shots, meds, and anything else that they can bill to insurance but that will not help you. They do not warn you of all of the side effects and negative aspects of epidural injections but will freely 'shoot you up' without a second thought. I have known patients to go there and the doctors don't even have MRI results to know exactly what they are treating. Patient beware....this place is an insurance sucking institution!
