Do not deal with these people, promised to deliver one day then took extra week because they lost title. Then when finally arrived I gave cash for down payment and then 5 hours after they sold me car they call and say the employee Forgot to get the down payment and I need to pay them again for downpayment. Why would they give me all paperwork and car if I didn’t pay? Now they say pay more money or they will take car. They are crooks.

HORRIBLE NEW CARMAX POLICY WHEN CALLING IN. tRY TO SPEAK TO the carmax where the car is located. After a lengthy wait you find out that it is your local carmax. Horrible when you want to speak to a salesman familiar with the car. Cars are way over priced and no negotiating. Need to change their policy since *******and many other people are getting into this business. Trust me your sales are going to take a hit. Need to revise your call in policy.

Worst buying experience ever. Purchase a car from Carmax on 11/20. Returned the car back to them on 11/21 at their request because the center console was frozen( couldn’t control the major function of the car) and electronic glove box kept open. Call for a status update on my car 11/23 was made aware the car was never looked and service is not open on the weekend. Therefore the car can’t be looked at until Monday. I only liked this page so I can tell the truth!! I bought a **** ******* ******only 8 months ago; I purchased the MaxCare cause I wanted to be assured that if my car had issues this great company would handle it! Well, here I am with my car still under warranty with CarMax. The car keeps shutting off and there is cranking sounds from the engine. I bought a car from the CarMax in Wilmington NC on Saturday it was pouring oil on Sunday. They have a 7 day return policy but to get another car I have to do the whole process again so you get more hits on your credit. I would not recommend CarMax.

They refused to register my daughters car. They lost the title and now her credit is ruined. We have begged them to help this situation and they refuse.

Carmax sent my title to the wrong address and then I had to go to the *** to get another one and pay for it. It is not the $ that bothers me its the time. *** gives me anxiety and the idea of having to go made me upset.

They will run your credit numerous times even for a small mistake they make and then later on you will get like 20 letters from the finance companies saying you were denied due to numerous inquiries. I have never had a dealership run credit as much as they do. Do not use them Go to *** *****for a better deal

I bought a car from CarMax in ******* ***We told the sales person, Norma R****, that we were pre-approved with our bank, and we didn't want to go through CarMax to finance the vehicle. She said that it was not a problem. We told them that our bank required that all the financing the title application paperwork needed to show our bank's name as the lien holder.
