I have always enjoyed excellent service at the Car Toys in Denton but January28th I took my new Ram 1500 to Car Toys Rockwall to have my Amateur Radios and Antennas removed from the Yukon I sold and to have them installed into my new Ram. The Car Toys damaged my radios beyond repair as certified by an Amateur Radio Dealer. The damage totaled $4,837.75 and now they refuse to pay. I am a Combat Disabled Vietnam Veteran and I encourage all Veterans not to shop at Car Toys until they are willing to pay for the damage they caused... read more
Maybe ask the customer if the display is ok to install, and not just sneak it in.

Such a bad experience. The advertised price is not what you get when you arrive. And when you need warranty work done because they sold you garbage, your put on the back burner until other new installs are completed first. Terrible customer service!
RecommendedI’ve been going to Car toys in lynnwood Wa for almost 10yrs and continue to go there. I’ve followed my favorite installer Clint down to the Bellevue location. They’ve worked on over 6 of my vehicles and my wife’s. Everything from full systems to decks and remote start. I will continue to go there. The level of professionalism and quality work keeps me going back. You get what you pay for. Kudos to the team down there. From management to the installation team and sales team.
RecommendedI have used Roy’s on two occasions, once he installed an aftermarket cruise control which is still working great 10+ years later. The 2nd time most recently he fixed an aftermarket radio install that another local shop had half assed. He was able to clean up the connections, fix the airbag warnings, and even get the stock/factory backup camera working with my aftermarket radio. I should have taken it to him to start with but I went with the bigger shop that advertised...my mistake. Thank you Roy!
This was the result of faulty window actuator wiring installed by Car Toys. 4 years ago I used the remote start installed in car by Car Toys and when I went to get in my car I saw smoke thinking it was something under my hood I opened the door popped the hood looked around saw nothing and when I walked back to the drivers door it was engulfed in flames. I am very lucky I was not driving my car at the time and that my children were not in the car. I will never use Car Toys again. This could have ended much worse than a totale... read more
