I recently bought a camper at *****************************. I was told that I could take it camping the day I bought it. That is not the case. The ******************* cable was broken and had to be pointed out before I would even drive it off the lot as I have my PA State Inspection license. My husband and I purchased a RV from here. Down the road we ******* ALOT!!!!!! WATCH ******* ***SE SALESMAN AND *** ******* DEPARTMENT AND THIS CAMPING PLACE!!!! BEWARE! We purchased this RV with trust with our sales person and everybody there at camping world at ******* they are very deceiving! When you go to sign your papers read over the very small print! Beware! Camping World as a whole is absolutely horrible. We purchased an ** at the ******** location and once we got it home and realized there was damage we called to report it and set up an appointment to have it repaired. Because Gander (sister company) in *******, ** was closer we were advised to take it there. We dropped the ** off on June 5th with a promise to be contacted with what needed to be done to repair the damage. We never received that call we called and left message after message. Just like everyone else here, I had a horrible experience when buying my Camper at Camping World. The first was I offered $1,000 less than the asking price since it was used, and they said that they would accept that, or if I paid the full asking price they would do a full inspection and fix anything broken for free, detail it, and give me a walk through. In April my husband and I brought a pop-up camper. It's our first one and we wanted something small and less expensive as we didn't know if we would like it, since we are tent campers. They showed us a couple, we found one that was used and gave us a price. They were willing to deal with the pricing only if we financed it.We told them we didn't want to pay outright, this should have been a warning sign. We finally agreed on a price. We bought a 2021 Cherokee 294rr in January from camping world *********. Took it in for service as the water pump wasnt working, the gutter had damage, and the screen door would not latch. We used it a few weeks ago and low and behold, the screen door still doesnt latch, the gutter is still leaking down the front of the camper, and now our exterior door is separating at the bottom and will not shut properly!! I got to experience blatant racism yesterday while ** shopping. I scheduled an appointment yesterday to look a a 2005 Alfa See-Ya. Once I arrived for my scheduled appt I was told that ** was just sold. Then the salesman who was supposed to be helping me told me that I couldn't afford anything on their lot. He never even asked my name or my income. Traded in our smaller camper for a larger one March 23, 2021. The whole sales experience was awful as I had attempted to initiate and do as much of the dealings as possible remotely since we were traveling to the location from out of state. My husband even made a couple of appearances before our scheduled trip as he was working in the area and wanted to show them we meant business. Took camper for ******** work. 5 Months later was told my camper was finally ready after multiple trips to store to check and unknown amount of phone calls and emails that were never returned. Needless to say camper was not repaired after being told it was. Left it to be repaired again. When picking up the next time it was still not repaired but used it on our trip anyway and took back to finish repairs. Was told that it was complete and ready for pick up on May 17th.
