Yes, their membership is cheap. That being said, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I have never, in my life experienced a company with such terrible customer service. I am not referring to the people behind the desk at the gym, I am referring to the people in the corporate office (aka a small corner in the Hollywood Way Gym). They have lost my credit card information multiple times and then randomly started charging me after my membership had been completed. Bought a membership and had stopped using it for quite awhile. Wanted to stop it as the year term was ending. Checked the bank account months ago and they had not been charging me since February. Thought I was over and done with them until I get a call today. I explained why I thought the membership had expired and they tell me that I owe a back amount. You'll get your best workout trying TO FIND a machine that isn't faulty, or by begging the employees and even the owners to please repair ANYTHING, and then you'll get an earful of excuses. If you haven't joined; don't. If you are already a non-valued member I'd say try to get a refund, but that's futile. Vote with your feet and don't renew and file a Better Business Claim. Hopefully one day the owners will get it together, or just sell to folks that take pride in owning and operating a gym.

ILLEGAL ACQUISITION & CHARGE OF NEW DEBIT CARDEvidently, I'm not the first this has happened to but hopefully I will be the last. BAC (Burbank Athletic Club) has illegally acquired my NEW debit card number after I verbally cancelled my month-to-month membership.After my debit card expired they attempted to get a new card out of me but I simply told them I was month-to-month and wanted to cancel my membership due to the fact that I had moved. 1 star is pushing it for a business that promotes fraud.Not only did I verbally cancel and send in an unnecessary letter to cancel membership months ago, I am still getting charged today. On a new credit card.Not once did I authorize a charge on my new card and how they received my updated credit card number through a billing agency is BEYOND me. I paid $145 for 15 months of membership during their spring special. Even without the sale, you won't find a better deal anywhere else. It's good to go during off peak hours, early morning or late at night. I don't have any complaints. The place is clean, the machines work, and the staff is nice enough.

This gym is alright not a bad place if you go early in the morning or late before they close. Other than that you get a bunch of kids hanging around making a mess, not cleaning equipment, and rushing you to complete your workout. The worst part is that I am currently struggling with ending my membership. The representative over the phone was rude and not acted like he was doing me a favor. To begin with parking is not a issue, there are multiple structures around the gym. Inside the gym is fairly clean and well equipped. There are tv's on the treadmills and music playing through out the gym.The 3 star is for the horrible air ventilation and it seems to just about always be crowded. I would suggest going early in the morning or late in the day to comfortably work out.Most importantly the people there are there to work out and even though the crowd is mostly young you don't get creepy stares. 10 stars for Maryam's Cardio Sculpt class on Mondays, Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:30 am. She is fantastic. She's been teaching this class for a really long time and is super sweet. I always leave her class feeling refreshed and energetic. Thank you Maryam. :)The membership costs are very affordable than most other gyms in Los Angeles, only about $100 a year! Convenient parking structure across the street as well.
