For the price it's really reasonable. I notice in the beginning of the week it's jammed pack and extremely smelly. After being in there I think my nose adjust to the horrible stench. At times some of the machines are out of order, but never has a sign that says out of order; and they run out of paper towels to clean the machines. Can't really complain because the price is cheap. The staff in the front always greets me hi and bye. The floors are always swept clean.

I'm very happy with both facilities at Burbank Athletic Club... the equipment is consistently being changed out and upgraded and the facility is kept clean. The employess are always pleasant... A special shout-out to Sophie at the front desk - she really maintains a great positive attitude. I'm absolutely ecstatic about my spinning classes with Karlos Ramirez..... To be honest, I never thought of myself as a "spinner" and Karlos suggested that I try it out - and I did about 6 months ago and haven't stopped... I hit Karlos' ... read more

I was hoping I didn't have to do this but, unprofessional employees lead me to it. I was previously content with my membership and when attending this gym. Time came to terminate my membership and there is where we ran into the problems. I attempted to contact this company through their provided customer service email listed on their website in order to cancel. Just like others on here I got no response within a span of a month. I finally called the gym and was told to submit a cancellation request through snail mail. It wou... read more

WORST.GYM.EVER.Crappy facilities, HORRIBLE customer service. The BAC Staff never answers emails, "lose" payments, and are generally the worst business admins I have ever dealt with. I just imagine in them sitting in cubicles, taking down information on bulky PCs from 1994. Yes, it's cheap - but the sheer aggravation of dealing with these people is NOT WORTH IT. Please take your money and invest in a membership at Crunch or something. If you're into wasting cash and energy, you're better off throwing your money into the LA ri... read more

It is cheap, so I can't complain too much. The staff is friendly but pretty lazy. The bathrooms are always dirty and have clogged toilets. You can tell they don't check the cleanliness of the locker rooms. The machines break a lot and some of them have wobbly foot plates on the cardio that never get fixed. Also...the scales are very very broken and could be replaced. But for 10 bucks a month...I guess it will have to do.

Everything you've read here about trying to cancel your membership is true. It's not too much of a stretch to say it's just about impossible to do, which I'm sure is their intention. I went into the gym (Hollywood Way) and told the guy at the front desk I was moving away and needed to cancel. He informed me that they don't handle cancellations at the gym (how convenient for them, but how is it they can start a membership but not end it. A totally screwed up business practice). He did give me an email address to write to, but... read more

I've been going to this gym for years, and I've never had a problem. The price is great and the location is perfect. But what I specifically admire is the grass roots approach BAC employees uphold. The owner of the company is a good man. I saw him on his hands and knees repairing equipment; most owners never do that. They don't care to make an appearance because they rather manage from the mountain top. The owner is always at the gym checking on operations and talking to people. Now that's quality. I really enjoy working out... read more
