From Bad to Worse – Not good. Poor service, lots of attitude, all of it bad, and food that was simply done wrong. Does have large tables to seat large groups.
Party On! – This place is awesome for groups. The place is loud and the crowd is boisterous. It is a just a plain fun place to have a large group. I would not bring kids here, but for an adult party it can't be beat. The food is not cheap, but it is plentiful. I thought the food was middle of the road, but the great times I have had there made each visit a blast.
Great Ambience, Bad Food – This is a fun place for a group, and I would agree with the other critics...the food here is nothing to brag about. The pizzas although large, are bland, on a thin crust, and skimp on ingredients....a "cardboard" type of pizza. I have had a great time here with large groups though, especially sharing a large bottle of cheap red wine. I'd recommend it for groups, for fun....just don't expect to go and love the food.
Chuck E. Cheese for adults is right! – most dishes taste like canned Chef Boy-R-Dee, and I swear I saw a bottle of Ragu in the kitchen, but hey, how can you not have fun when everyone is eating this freezer-section food off of shared gigantic platters and drinking too much cheap wine? Like Chuck E. Cheese for adults, they do know how to create a fun environment for big groups here, but the food has no more quality than one of the cheesy framed posters of Italy on the walls. They have created McItaly, with kitschy Italian pos... read more
An Insult to True Italians – I find this place offensive in their portrayal of what Italian food should be and how Italians eat. Leave it up to Seattle with predominantly Scandinavian and Asian influence to put it on top. Total lack of Southern Mediteranean culture. Walk through the kitchen and you find kids of every non-latin nationality fumbling around pretending to cook. Under-cooked noodles, under-cooked eggplant, overly salted, highly acidic tomato sauce - I think it was tomato sauce. I'm sure nobody in this town has an... read more
plenty of mediocre food – Generous family-sized portions done in mediocre fashion--I'm not bashing the restaurant, but don't expect world class dining when they serve 2lb meatballs in a spaghetti & meatballs dish! It's a fun and lively atmosphere, and a great place to bring large groups, especially with children who will undoubtedly enjoy the festive surroundings.
awful food – This is not good Italian food. It is heavy not very tasty and the wine horrid. a fun place to be with friends but the food is gross.
Fun Family Dining at its Best! – Previous reviews are right: this is not the best Italian food in town, but hey - in Beppo's defense, I don't think ranking in Epicurean magazine is their goal.. This is the place to bring your smile, and if you're a little down in the dumps, an over-abundance of feel-good carbohydrates and a tour through the men's bathroom (ladies, request this if your server doesn't offer it) will cheer you up! Beppo's atmosphere promises and delivers that feel-good family dining in spades. It serves up larg... read more
#2 Italian? Please!!! – Best? PLEASE! Buca de Beppo is fun and great for the right group, but the food is mediocre at its' finest. If you want good Italian food go to the East Coast.
