Food "debris – Just thought you should now before you visit this place that unless you bring a metal detector or scanner don't eat here!!!!!!!! I was here on 6-26-09 with a group of 30 for a rehearsal dinner and while I was eating my food there was a large metal clip in my food! Affordable date place for college students! – My boyfriend and I eat at Buca ALL the time. We're college students on a tight budget and find that Buca is one of the most affordable places for date nights, because the portions are large enough to share. The desserts are delicious and if you get on the emailing list you get discounts all the time. Service is usually amazing, we've only had one waiter that wasn't great (we think it was his first day) We highly recommend it.

Do NOT Waste Your Time! – OK, I get that these chefs are pumping out large portions of a ton of dishes to multiple tables very quickly, but the food totally isn't worth the atmosphere. Everything is undercooked or overcooked or super greasy or super bland. I don't think anything on the menu is traditionally italian. Maybe the idea was, but not how it comes to your table, plus the place if full of prom-going teenagers most weekends.

The WORST service – This genius of a waitress was unfriendly, forgetful, and flat out incompetent. She brought us salad plates which we sat in front of us, then never brought any salad. Then she came back 10 minutes later and collected the unused plates?? She took at least 10 minutes to bring our drinks, and then forgot to put our order in completly! Average food and plenty of excuses – Went for Mother's Day because my mother had always been curious about it. I had been there before with a large group so I knew what to expect...food on par with what you can get in the frozen food section of your grocery store, but a fun atmosphere and low prices. Huge portion,but not a tasty food – personaly , I think Olive garden, Macaroni grill have much better, and tasty food than Bucca. The portions are huge and family style ,but if u r loking for good Italian food tthis is not the place to go. Capones restaurant is nearby, even the Olive garden has much much better food than Bucca.

Used to be the best Italian rest. in LV, but now owned by Planet Hollywood, and it's as fake as hollywood! – This is my third time to Buca but I will never return. I always loved their true traditional Italian fare, with authentic tasting marinara, from a old family recipe. Good thin crust pizza – The thin crust pizza is crispy and topped with mozzarella. The restaurant is too noisy, and the patrons compete to hear conversations at their own tables. Service is slow, and the restaurant is very crowded after a game. Drinks and food are overpriced.
