Molto di Crapo – Pure authentic junk - the food sucks and the place is not that great either. If you want good Italian food try the Asteroid cafe in Wallingford. I loved the Popesicles though!
fun atmosphere – the atmosphere is very festive and the decor is eclectic. it's a fun place to go with a big group of people and it's the only way to go eating family style. the prices are awesome for how much food you get. very good for big groups! and if your group is that big, request the pope table! the food is pretty good as well. however, it's not excellent--no big deal. it's still a fun place to go, for reasonable prices, great atmosphere, and good good.
Huge amounts of flavorless piles of pasta. Impossible to order a meal for one person. Might be a value for large groups of people who don't like spices (ie elderly).
not as good as the hype – waited 2 hours outside, in the rain for our table - and we even had reservations. food was bland, not too tasteful, and we felt we were being rushed.
buca di obscene – as an out of town visitor taken to bdb twice now i am stuck not by the fact this is a great value, rather that the quantities are obscene. some of the food served in tasty, but mostly it is just quantities. good table service.
good food, lotsa fun! – Whether you are entertaining Business associates or just going out to dinner, this is a fun place to go with great food!
No place for a date – This place is noisy and the food is one step above drive-through fast food. No place to have a nice meal. Leave this one for kids.
"Thatsa Funa Placea" – Delivered its expectations!! Fine Italian dining its not... but then they don't say it is. Good value for a group{4 or more}. Young fun servers matched the fun surroundings. Could be a fun place for "that first date" You can't lack for conversation there!! Food is a solid "7". Go to "Tulio's" for fine dining, and an oppurtunity to spend "LOTSA" money.
Lotta Good Food – It is a place that is fun, decorative, lots of great food, huge helpings, and great for big groups!
