First timer – Had the Egg Plant parm. The small was plenty for two. Can't remember what it was called but also had tomatoes with cheese and olive oil. Everything was very good. Server was outstanding. I Loved the pictures as some were very funny. I will go back!
Love it!!! – This food is delicious, and I am very picky when comes to italian. The portions are huge, so come with an appetite. It's a cool place to go with your whole family...love the italian decor!
Wedding Rehearsal Dinner at Buca di Beppo – We hosted our son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Buca di Beppo, Broomfield, CO Nov, 27, 09. We had a great time, with great service, food, and friendly atmosphere. We had big Chianti bottles that were signed with comments for the bride and groom. Every aspect of dining out was excellent – The decor was entertaining. We had a party of 14. The advice from the chief about what and how much to order for such a large party was accurate. We ranged fro grandparents to grandchildren. Everyone was happy with the food.
Great food, fun atmosphere – I have been here twice, the first time for a private party. We received a private room, great attention. The food was awesome. Rich but not too heavy. I had the salmon with pine nuts and pesto. I tried to copy that recipe at home right away. Pasta was a bit mushy but still good. Prices are right on the fence. Second time, server was good. In Santa Monica? there's much better within 5 blocks. – We were well behaved, planned on spending a good amount, and felt like Buca was a good place to enjoy a friends birthday. UNFORTUNATELY our waitress and her manager didn't believe this was the case. Long and short of it is, if you bring a group, plan on overspending for a decent meal. Should've went somewhere else. – I've seen Buca Di Beppo many times driving through Franklin. I checked out the reviews online and thought it sounded like a great place to eat based on all of the raving reviews. I was expecting something along the lines of Macaroni Grill in a different light. Why I will never go back. – I made a reservation for four for 7 PM, I arrived a few minutes early and checked with the hostess to make sure they had my reservation, they did. When the rest of our party arrived I let the hostess know that we were all there and ready when our table was. We were seated shortly, well most of us were. We were taken to the farthest room from the front door, to a space that literally required the guests at the next table to stand to allow us room to get to one side of our table. they dumped our leftovers – The waiter said that he was going to box up our leftovers; he took them to get boxed up; after a very long wait, I went to find him and he told me he forgot. He went back to look for them and then came back to let me know the leftovers had been dumped. So much for lunch. I have never had a waiter take food to be boxed, forgot them and then return empty handed. I am not a happy camper. s.
