Home River group lies to applicants, steals their money and practices in discriminatory policies against individuals with disabilities.

Linda T. and Mayra J. are the property managers I have had to work with for the last 6 months. The last 6 months have literally been the worse 6 months in the last almost 2 years I've lived in this property. Portal issues, voucher issues, and account issues. All completely on their end and they like to harass me with late fees or not respond when I ask for help to have issue resolved. The tenant has had some issues with logging in through our tenant portal. We have addressed these issues as they have come up and waived the fees when appropriate. The tenant has not received any late fees as a result of these technical issues as they are not wide spread reported, but isolated to the user's unique experience. While we working with the tenant the portal system does send out automatic email reminders in the event the user is not aware they are delinquent. I am a current tenant of Homeriver Group have been for 5 going on 6 years a great tenant. I decided that now I have 2 jobs and in a better financial state to look for a bigger place. The property manager Laura is one lazy person. Support is completely useless. Stay away from the company. Spent countless hours trying to contact them with no response. Support would at least respond but they would never do anything to actually help. (Btw don't let their fast responses at the start fool you once you put a deposit down they will ghost you)
I currently live in a property in **********, *******. I have rented from multiple companies in multiple states and I have never dealt with anything like this. I started the process 4 weeks before my move-out date with my last apartment. I had to give one star in order to complete this. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. We asked about a home that was for rent, that took forever to get a response. The ad said approved application- we asked about it and they said there wasn’t. We paid the $75 application fee for both of us, only to find out there was an approved application. Upon further review, I went ahead and requested that your application fee be returned to you.
They had an excellent sales pitch, which was not followed up with action. They were only interested in collecting rent and late fees. I sent them money in March for repairs along with insurance company recommendations. In June (three months later) they sent someone out to look at the property when I notified them I was in town and expressed my displeasure. They did get back to me, and I submitted revision.
