Dr Shafer always provides excellent care. Was having some shoulder pain due to tendonitis, recommended a shot to take down inflammation.
Always ask the right questions.
I’m lucky. I seem to collect terrific doctors. Dr. Shafer is one of them. For my sore shoulder, he could have recommended expensive surgery for a torn rotator cuff, or at the very least, difficult and painful physical therapy. Instead, he gave me a shot of cortisone which should last me another year. He’s my kind of doctor — friendly and caring.
Dr Safer and Jason provided excellent information about my knee health. Their balanced approach for me minimized the need for knee replacement and focused on what I need to improve my knee health now. They were a breath of fresh air.
Dr. Shafer is very kind, professional and great at communicating!!! Explained everything for upcoming surgery and the after surgery plan….definitely feel more positive about going forward with Shoulder replacement! I feel confident I have the right surgeon with Dr. Shafer!!!!!
