In 1960 John Brann Sr. opened the first John Brann’s Steakhouse in Grand Rapids Michigan. This is where the famous Sizzling Steak got its beginning. John wanted to make sure that families could go out to eat and get a great meal at a great price. The idea caught on because they were selling 800 Sizzling Steak dinners on Saturday nights! WOW!

awesome food can never go wrong with going to the place that you grew up around
Food was cold twice, service was awful. And still paid over $50.00.
tonight was my last attempt at Branns, while sports bar was busy we stood for a long time along with couple other incoming customers with nowhere to sit while 3 booths and couple tables remained dirty and not being tended to so we and the other couples left. possibly understaffed either way not our first issue with this location also had issues with the food.
Recommendedwait staff handled our large group very well

Steaks are always a great choice. Ribs are good as well.
SMH...quit going here a looooong time ago ! Due to poor wait staff and lack of quality in food ( 28th st location is AMAZING btw) Decided to give them another try....met a friend who FREQUENTS the place, spends quite a bit of money each visit too !!!...the VERY NEW bartender ( barely 21 herself) cut him off after only a few drinks !!! He was clearly not drunk...barely even "buzzed"...she just didnt know him...mentioned he had a " twinkle" in his eye....SMH WILL NEVER GO BACK !!!!
Great food, great service, and the manager Sue, was awesome to everyone!❤️❤️
