In 1960 John Brann Sr. opened the first John Brann’s Steakhouse in Grand Rapids Michigan. This is where the famous Sizzling Steak got its beginning. John wanted to make sure that families could go out to eat and get a great meal at a great price. The idea caught on because they were selling 800 Sizzling Steak dinners on Saturday nights! WOW!

Awesome time with family’s can’t wait to come back
we have been coming to Branns every year for our wedding anniversary. we actually had our rehearsal dinner downstairs by the fireplace that was 33 years ago today. we will continue to celebrate our anniversary dinner at Branns
Food and service was great! We accidentally stumbled upon this place due to rush hour traffic on our way to a concert. They offer a limo bus service to van andel for a reasonable price. Will be going here any time we are headed to downtown. Thanks for the awesome hospitality ⭐️
The steaks are delicious. Love the butter with honey and the 3.99 margaritas
one of THE best sirloin steak dinners I've had in along time. highly recommend this steak house and they honor first responders and our Michigan police. you will find the atmosphere and walls decorated with paying respect to our brave men and women in fire and law enforcement.
We ordered our meal and got our salads and waited 5 + min for our silverware but only to see our waiter bring bread to someone else so we left.
The whole staff was awesome and very friendly!!
Ordered a steak to be cooked Med when it came out it was raw-went back again when it came back it was rare-when it came back it was well and like shoe leather!
