While the features were all very new and not as robust as a more established bank, I generally enjoyed the product until recently. Out of nowhere, Bluevine informed me that they were closing my account. After several attempts to discuss with them, they have let me know that they are unable to share any details as to why the account is being closed. They closed my account. That's fine. But then they tell me I can't have access to MY money. They steal your money and then send you an email talking about " security rules and policies are set to high standards meant to protect you and your account " They might as well wear masks and brandish guns because they're committing robbery.

Like SOOOOOO many others here I'm closing my account due to inept customer service and absurd "security" measures that have kept me locked out of my account for nearly 2 months, despite giving them the requested information on multiple occasions. Its now October 2023 ( I been waiting since April 2023 to get into my account they continue giving me the runaround telling me to upload my phone bill which I did numerous of times. I was banking with Bluevine for about a year and liked the ease of use. However, one day my account was locked, I was refused access to my money and they use words like suspicious activity and failure to meet review standards as the reason but would not pin point anything in particular that my company did wrong. This is an institution I would definitely stay away from. The customer service department will do nothing to help or provide answers. I funded my account with **** from my retirement account. ****************** held my check from 9/14/23-9/25/23. I called them several times during the course of me waiting for them to release my funds and asked would it be a problem if I took a withdrawal as I have been seeing complaints on here and on Reddit. They assured me, No youll be fine. You dont have any restrictions on your account. Do not believe the websites that say bluevine is the best for small businesses./. It is not. I attempted to deposit my first check on 9/9/23, the funds were not available in my account until 9/20/23. Then I tried to use their ACH to issue myself paycheck (2-3 day waiting period) and it said it would be in my personal account until 9/25/23.
