This Bank should be closed down for fraud/ steeling money. I deposited a check to my Bluevine Checking account and made payroll payment through bluevine. Bluevine declined the mobile deposit because of a bad picture and then would not accept the check because they stated it already had been deposited. Then the payroll payment was taken by back from my employee's account but was not refunded into my account. I will be filing every fraud charge available, and will never bank with Bluevine again. Small business account closed for no reason out of the "blue" and funds held for 20 days. I've lost all access to my prior year of banking history, etc. You should be ashamed of yourselves. You cause major interruptions to small businesses without warning. Run away fast from this souless "bank". Okay... which fake, fained caring canned-response will they paste below?

I hate when people leave extreme negative reviews but this company has certainly earned it. I tried to leave zero stars but it forced me to put one which is one more than they have earned in my experience. Basically they have three offices. The first is a telecom company that knows nothing and can't essentially do anything except attempt to verify your business name (which is about a 50/50 chance then you have to call back because their script won't allow them to correct their own spelling). I had an active small business checking account that was just unceremoniously canceled after 1.5 years of use. No explanation provided except that they couldn't verify my information. Not sure what information could possibly be needed after 1.5 years of use, but no attempt was made and this is clearly a false reason. Now I have to wait at least 2 weeks for my balance to be mailed to me by check. Avoid.

After a year of using this, there are too many challenges for it to be worth the 2% interest. There's no mobile check deposits and hardly any access to ATMs (so I have to go to counter at **** for both above). You cannot connect external banks (like Chase or TD) to the account to transfer funds, it's too inconvenient to use for for anything other than paying bills online and the debit card.

When it goes wrong, it goes wrong. Changed my cell phone number and have been locked out of my account for 5 weeks. I gave them my name, social security number, address, was able to confirm last 5 transactions in the account. But the representative couldn't unlock my account due to backup with tech team. 3 weeks later, I was asked to send a monthly bill *********** service. I did. They still didn't unlock my account. 2 weeks later, I was asked to send a copy of my drivers license. I'm still locked out of my account. It's tax... read more

I second all the negative reviews on this thread. No customer service and misfunctioning app on a regular basis. I could not deposit checks at certain points either. But the worst - Bluevine closed my account without explanation and never even sent out a refund check for the remaining amount that was in my account at the time. I can't imagine any other bank that would effectively steal funds from a customer like that.

I applied for a credit line for my nonprofit organization from Bluevine. After entering all my personal information ein number, social security number, banking information I haven't received a response from this company yet. After several attempts calling this company to cancel my application, they keep telling me it takes two days to cancel and receive a email that all my information has been deleted.
