I was visiting Friends in MD with my dog, Dori. Their dog and Dori didn’t get along and ended up fighting and biting each other. Dori got the worst of it - a deep bite near her eye. It puffed up badly so I put in a call to my Florida vet, who unfortunately did not return my 8 am call until 7 PM. Since it was now after hours, we had to find a 24 hour vet. They give the BEST care! They treat our family (pet) like they’re family. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
I wish I could give negative stars. The Blue Pearl vet told us that our dog's sudden, almost complete, loss of mobility was due to arthritis. When we saw our normal vet two days later he found that our dog had two, massive, external infections that were the source of our dog's distress, and which the Blue Pearl vet had completely missed. The BP vet's incompetency could have resulted in our dog's death. I am furious and appalled. staff was friendly and efficient not pushy that’s good. much better than other facilities. BUT, have a sick vomiting pup, was sent home with food that had been recalled 5 days ago. Mind you I wasn’t charged for the food, that’s not my issue. They should have known better. I’m a consumer not a vet and I learned about it by chance checking my email from pet food advisor (highly recommend signing up for it) Do your homework. they didn’t. Thats disappointing. It was good until I checked.

We brought our cat, Gizmo, to Blue Pearl when it became clear it was time for him to be put to sleep. We had no previous connection to Blue Pearl, but I have to say that I have never been so impressed with a veterinary facility or their staff. They handled the whole process kindly, gracefully, and professionally, and the care we received from their staff will never be forgotten. I highly recommend them for any veterinary service you may require.
We brought our dog to Blue Pearl because he had an emergency during a time our normal vet was closed. We were a little apprehensive about the level of care he would receive at an emergency facility, but we were really impressed by the facility, staff, and doctors. Our dog got great care and is feeling much better. Thanks Blue Pearl!
