FANTASTIC EVERY TIME I've been to Bluehour several times--sometimes for cocktails & appetizers and more times for dinner. Bluehour is consistently great on all accounts. The decor & ambiance are elegant and inviting and the service is top notch. Everything I've tasted at Bluehour is exquisite. I've traveled the world and eaten at many wonderful restaurants and Bluehour is in my top 10 of the best.
Fondue – Fried picholine olives, antipasto, margherita pizza, caesar, oysters, FONDUE, FONDUE, FONDUE. Sit near the door for the best people watching. Life is Delicious.
My Wife's Birthday Dinner Last Night – I want to thank the Bluehour staff for making me look like some kind of BIG SHOT last night. I really had one of the best dinners of my life. Everything was perfect and my wife was blown away by all the attention.
MANAGEMENT AWFUL – I go to Blue Hour continually, and am usually a huge fan, but i have to say i am so tired of the management there! THEY ARE HORRIBLE! So rude and inconsiderate. they always recognize me as a VIP, but most recently, TOM has been continually rude and disrespectful, and it's drives me crazy to see the way they talk to their employees. they treat their staff like they're worthless, and it's awful. Im so glad to see that the assistant manager, RON, is gone, because he was never even nice to us. He was always ru... read more
Still In Love – I have been going to Bluehour for years. I've had birthdays there. My wife and I were engaged there and recently spent election night there. The place really delivers for special occasions, but as a regular hang out, it just feels like home. The staff knows my name and really seems to care about the customer. I often get a burger and Caesar salad. They are both delicious treats after work. The happy hour is pretty good as well. I recommend giving it a try.
When in Portland, you MUST visit Blue Hour – Looking for a last minute restaurant for my wife's birthday. Wow, did this exceed every expectation I had. Staff was very accommodating, food was outlandish and overall experience was really something special. This is NOT a cheap restaurant. Expect to drop $150 for 2 plus drinks, but well worth it. Even the desert was out of this world. Definitely an 5 Star restaurant.
Food – Had a great time, a little pretentious but I had a great time, friday night is the night to go! If you want to make it during the week, the happy hour is great!
