Portlanders have long awaited this restaurant since the owner closed Zefiro's. Portland's most elite are again hob-nobbing with each other amidst elegant and trendy surroundings. From the high ceilings to the opulent, mirror-bedecked restrooms, nothing has been overlooked. Wine is available from nearly any region or stick with your usual cocktail from the full bar. Poultry and seafood dominate the expansive menu, but you can also find plenty of pasta and beef. Be sure to leave room for an impressive dessert; like its predece... read more

Fondue – Fried picholine olives, antipasto, margherita pizza, caesar, oysters, FONDUE, FONDUE, FONDUE. Sit near the door for the best people watching. Life is Delicious.
My Wife's Birthday Dinner Last Night – I want to thank the Bluehour staff for making me look like some kind of BIG SHOT last night. I really had one of the best dinners of my life. Everything was perfect and my wife was blown away by all the attention.
MANAGEMENT AWFUL – I go to Blue Hour continually, and am usually a huge fan, but i have to say i am so tired of the management there! THEY ARE HORRIBLE! So rude and inconsiderate. they always recognize me as a VIP, but most recently, TOM has been continually rude and disrespectful, and it's drives me crazy to see the way they talk to their employees. they treat their staff like they're worthless, and it's awful. Im so glad to see that the assistant manager, RON, is gone, because he was never even nice to us. He was always ru... read more
Still In Love – I have been going to Bluehour for years. I've had birthdays there. My wife and I were engaged there and recently spent election night there. The place really delivers for special occasions, but as a regular hang out, it just feels like home. The staff knows my name and really seems to care about the customer. I often get a burger and Caesar salad. They are both delicious treats after work. The happy hour is pretty good as well. I recommend giving it a try.
When in Portland, you MUST visit Blue Hour – Looking for a last minute restaurant for my wife's birthday. Wow, did this exceed every expectation I had. Staff was very accommodating, food was outlandish and overall experience was really something special. This is NOT a cheap restaurant. Expect to drop $150 for 2 plus drinks, but well worth it. Even the desert was out of this world. Definitely an 5 Star restaurant.
Food – Had a great time, a little pretentious but I had a great time, friday night is the night to go! If you want to make it during the week, the happy hour is great!
top 5 in the city – Looks like pdx peeps are hot and cold on this place, but I love it. Food is decadent, service is professional and the decor is unlike any other place in the city. I can't afford to eat here regularly, but try to rotate it in a couple of times a year. I hear the bar is a scene, but I'm not really into scenes. I support the right to serve foie gras, so for that reason I also like to support this place, besides what the angry vegans say. sorry, that's not very PC of me. All in all, I say try bluehour, as it ... read more
IMPRESSIVE! – I was given the challenging task of entertaining my firm's clients from the East Coast for dinner. As many of you know, East Coast diners have high expectations of food and service. I made a reservation at Bluehour. From the great wine selections provided by the sommelier to the diverse menu to the tasty desserts, our entire dinner was phenomenal. My guests were very demanding on the staff, and they delivered very accommodating service. I highly recommend this restaurant for business entertaining. The food and ... read more
I dined at Bluehour this weekend for the first time in 2 years. I must say the dinner was even better than I had remembered. We were greeted by a lovely host who sat us on time for our reservation with a friendly smile. Our server was very attentive and helpful with suggestions that improved our dinner. Even though there are many new places to go, Bluehour still delivers interesting, fresh cuisine. My husband and I enjoyed two amazing pastas as well as the New York Steak with Short Rib and the Vegetarian Flan. Everything was... read more
