Portlanders have long awaited this restaurant since the owner closed Zefiro's. Portland's most elite are again hob-nobbing with each other amidst elegant and trendy surroundings. From the high ceilings to the opulent, mirror-bedecked restrooms, nothing has been overlooked. Wine is available from nearly any region or stick with your usual cocktail from the full bar. Poultry and seafood dominate the expansive menu, but you can also find plenty of pasta and beef. Be sure to leave room for an impressive dessert; like its predece... read more

Interesting place – Great place for a date.
always a treat – bluehour is my neighborhood restaurant and I am probably there way too much, but its a Portland favorite. The food is consistently well executed and flavorful [I want to roll in the black truffle gnocchi sauce] and the staff warm and welcoming. My favorites include the salmon tartar, bacon wrapped scallops, and anything that Chef Drew has as a special [fried green tomatoes with fried oysters last summer were amazing]. The bar menu is also a good find, with great pasta and an excellent fondue. And one of the ... read more
A great place for a date My husband has had his company's holiday party hosted by these folks for several years. The food is excellent and the service efficient and friendly. Very upscale. A nice place to go on a date.
yummy! – yummy food and great atmosphere! i heard happy hour is amazing, but we liked it for a special ocassion.
great scallops – When ever I have friends in town I take them here. The bacon wrapped scallops alone are worth the trip.
A must for any visit to Portland – Blue Hour is a Portland staple. Everyone who visits I take them there and they are thoroughly impressed. I love the potato gnocchi and bacon wrapped scallops.
OK Restaurant – The food was ok but pricey but the service was way too slow. To the point that I felt our table was ignored. While I find it annoying to be constantly approached, come on - 30 minutes after the entree came and there we no checking back. A quick check back could have made all the difference as one in our party had undercooked meat. A quick fix ordinarily.
people watching --good grub---cool place – best birthday party experience with a group at a restaurant in portland!
Happy hour is the best in town – I have never been for dinner because it's a bit pricey, but the happy hour is really nice. Not a lot of drink selections, but the food is well priced and of great quality.
