We have been to Blake 3 times for knee surgery. Everyone is wonderful here. The Orthopedic floor is very organized. The nurses(Lindsay), therapist (Rollie) and maintenance people (Rutha), and everyone we have met are so pleasant. We recommend this hospital's orthopedic program to everyone.
The girl who took my insurance info was the sweetest thing, made the time spent filling out forms fly by with friendly demeanor. The nurse who did my procedure was compassionate but no nonsense and she did a great job. Going to the ER is never a pleasant experience, but the staff made it as easy as possible.
As long as u got insurance they're amazing. My mom was taken great care of. She's back again for an unrelated issue & her nurse Chris is wonderful. Very compassionate & professional people working here taking the best care of our loved ones. Thank you
Mike the RN in the ER was so great, he listened to all my concerns after I reacted to a medication given to me before his shift change. Did everything and anything he could to take away the pain and nausea. Then personally wheeled me out to my ride when I was discharged when I could tell he didn't have the time. Thank you for everything Mike!

My boyfriend was referred to them by Lakeland Regional Hospital and we were able to get an appointment the very next day. When we got there was a little bit of a wait, but he was able to have his surgery done the same day. When they took him back to surgery they estimated that we would be there for another 5 to 6 hours. They were able to cut this time in half and we left 2 and a half to 3 hours later. Doctors and nurses are very good at what they do and I would recommend them for any hand surgeries you may need.
Have been there a couple of times with my elderly mother. For the most part staff is nice, thoughtful and understanding. The time it takes to go through ER is long. The 8 minute wait time time is midleading for what it actually represents. They seem to pull staff from the hospital to ER and everyone is delayed.
Second home to me. Always get treated ultra special. Love the service and the attention.
