Was there for my moms surgery. They treated her awesome and me and my daughters also.
So far very good in caring for my son who torn a ligament playing rugby. He was scheduled for surgery with Dr. VanVliet an excellent & knowledgeable doctor. His staff was amazing & caring, making sure my son was treated well and was properly informed of what his recovery & therapy would look like. The therapist was amazing & patient...very thorough. Come from two hours away & so far the best treatment. Thank you.

I went there with my mom full of welts the doctor said I don't know.what is wrong Not even a blood work nothing to relieve her itch and pain. 3 hrs there nothing done and she still with her hives she came to visit for vacation the only suggestion was take her back home.��
From the Manatee County EMS transportation through to returning home, my care was excellent. The ER was packed but each patient was treated with love and respect. Triage was done well. I was cared for according to the severity of my condition and I was there for a while. Lots of people, all ages and ethnicities, but excellent standard of care for all. Not where I wanted to be but a great comfort to have BMC in our community.
This morning I was discharged from Blake, suffering from the same ailment that I checked in for. The nurses here are great, but the doctors refuse to listen to their patients.
After my husband being admitted to manatee memorial for chest pains and only given a nitro patch after 18 hours there he decided to take his IV's out and walk out. We then came to Blake and the treatment he has received here has been amazing. He received his normal medication and they have run tests to find out what's wrong. I will never go to another hospital in this area again. Blake is our choice for a hospital.
