I had the best nurses! Everybody was so kind and so helpful which makes it easier to to get well again.
I had mostly nice nurses. But these nurses were way under staffed and extremely over worked. The food was blah but edible. All this being said I'm giving a shout out to Misty from ED overflow and Amanda from the 4th floor.
Blake medical they are all very good folks on top of their game and that means a lot
After leaving and calling the specialist they recommended I see, he said the ER doctor was completely wrong on his diagnosis and to take all three mess he prescribed and IMMEDIATELY throw them in the trash. Wow, $400 copay and $45 for prescriptions I didn't need. Looks like I will drive to Lakewood Ranch for proper care in the future. Thanks for nothing. Our nurse was very nice though
The service in the ER front desk is awful. My son was there having some type of episode with chest pain sweating and nausea. This older woman working the desk treated him like he was there for a paper cut. Asking all type of unrelated questions. My son's condition worsened eyes, body movement and could not speak clear. Still nothing done. We left went to Manatee Memorial, they concluded he was having a seizure. Just got here was nervous since urgent care doctor referred us here immediately. Nurse practitioner a know it all no compassion and borderline rude!!
They were very fast in the ER Department got me in right away and they were very kind also. I will definitely go back in the event I have another emergency situation.
We had to go to Blake ER yesterday for a car accident involving my husband who got ran over. The trauma unit and nurses were awesome! We thank God for His glory and the hospital for their care and kindness!
Waiting time was minimal, and the nurses and staff were great.
