Worst hospital I have ever had to deal with...I would have never had believed the atrocious treatment my dying father received there in the past two weeks...out of possibly 30 medical "professionals" that poked, prodded, neglected him...only three workers treated him with the respect that he deserved...I absolutely hate this place and God forbid I ever need medical treatment in the future, I would rather die than go there

I wish we would have gone to Manatee memorial or Lakewood ranch. If you want to be admitted then forgotten about, Blake is perfect for you.

I love this hospital it is the best hospital that I have ever been in for anything but especially on 4-26-2015 when I was run over by a car while working on US 41 in Nokomis at 11 pm on traffic lights when a woman was driving south she ran me over and kept on going I was brought to Blake by helicopter with a three quarter severed leg and a fractured neck at the time Nobody thought I was going to survive but the nurses and doctors worked to save my life and the even saved my leg as for my neck after 4 months I had to have a n... read more

They are suppose to. E getting better??? The worst. Especially when you haven't ever been admired and the all ready asking you about discharge. The placement nurse Sue is a bitch she was working on the 3 Rx Fl. Not sure if she works other floors, but she is a bitch. I have nothing nice to say about Blake Hospital but they SUCK ASS. Don't care about your problems/concerns and My husband has been going for 50 yrs and never again... They are rude and you can't even understand some of them...They don't speak ENGlISH fluently or ... read more

Being a Paramedic and firefighter for over 25 years in a major trauma center out of Indiana, I have seen a lot. I have only been in Florida for a few months and have experienced the efficiency of a couple hospitals with our parents. Blake seems to have one of the most efficient Emergency rooms that I have been in. The security guard that met us at the car is one of the most caring individuals i have met. Spent the last 4 days in the third floor east Great staff everyone concerned and helpful and always with a special thanks to the RN Jill I believe went above and beyond her Call of Duty to make sure my son was comfortable after his tumur removed from his spine and then again 2 days last after finding a leak in spine so thanks to all the staff on this floor and .

Went to hospital this morning to get defibrillator installed, everything was approved by Dr and insurance co. Was on the table just seconds from getting anesthesia and the hospital stops the procedure because I haven't had a heart Attack yet. How stupid is this! Not everything was bad the 2 people that checked me in and prepped me were awesome, jorge and Jessica are the nicest people you'll ever meet! So now I have to go to another hospital to get it done.
