There was a very slow process before my daughter's surgery. The Navigator had resigned 2weeks earlier, making the Nurses & Radiologist push her to all her tests before Surgery in the OUT-Patient section.

I went for a dislocated finger, it was in the middle of the day on a Saturday so being very busy was expected. I am in the medical field myself and I understand being very busy. I was registered fairly quickly but the x-rays took forever and getting discharged only happened when I took matters into my own hand and forced someone to get me out fo there and check me out. I work at another hospital in this area but for the best interest of my parent, we came to Blake for care and treatment. I was a little reluctant considering I love my hospital. But I will say, the staff has been amazing! Not "being home" is a little odd, but you guys have made us feel at home. So Thank You Med Surg 2nd floor! You guys rock!
Kelly in ICU 5th floor is an amazing wonderful nurse she deserves nurse of the year over and over agian wonderful lady wish i could take her home ! her patients are in wonderful hands kelly I wish we knew you're last name we love you and the care you are taking of our missy ! I loved it when I first started working there as a nurse. Then I was given a steroid at doctors when I injured my back off work. It caused my brain to swell but apparently their "trauma center" needs a little neuroscience, mental illness, and pharmacology review! They let me, one of their own, be tortured at Centerstone, or whatever the criminals changed their name to today, and didn't give a shit. They dont really know what there doing if a blood test shows a clot somewhere u should be positive theres no clot and were
I was there for a double biopsy of the temporal arteries... everyone, from being greeted when we first arrived, all the way through, was kind and courteous... thank you to all that took care of me!!!! Can't remember all your names, but all of you were wonderful, kind and compassionate!!!
I spent 50 days there from Jan.3rd to Feb.25th 2016.The staff was incredible. Sara and April and all of Al's Angel's, I can't think of everyone's names,but, you know who you are, took great care of me. Dr. Cashen and Coastal Orthopedics and Dr. Godofsky and staff.I can't thank you enough.If i ever have to stay in Blake again, i would like the second floor or where ever Al's Angel's are. They were vital to my healing both physically and mentally. I will never forget. Thanks . Alan
