I used Blake for my son as a young one with his first case of the croup. Holmes Beach Paramedics were great, the hospital stinks! I watched them cause my husband's father get BED SORES in ICU there. Out of court settlement of $100,000 within a bit over a year. They then basically killed both as seniors forgetful with medications and both were pulled out to die with Hospice. As we move into our Holmes Beach/Key Royale home I will ONLY use Sarasota Memorial or go up to Tampa for medical car. NEVER Blake, EVER.

This place saved my hand Dr van vliet one of the best thank u so much for save in my fingers an 2 all the nurses well theirs always a few that have attitudes but 90 % of nurses that cared for me in icu were top notch a special thanks to nite time ICU nurse Brittney best attitude bed side manner just uplifting at such a hard time in my life also jess over nite ICU nurse thanks for putting up with my crabby butt with a smile can't say enough good things jess an Brittney need raises lol thanks Blake
Absolutely horrible ER. Wait time on billboard and Internet says 8 minutes. We've been in the waiting room for 2.5 hours. Entire ER staff disappeared for 20 mins when their Chinese food was delivered. My husband had to help an elderly man into the ER and into a wheelchair because no one was here. Staff is very nonchalant and could care less if people just leave without care. NEVER seen anything like this!!!!!
My dad's blood results have returned from the lab 4+ hours ago. No one has yet to informed him regarding the results. The clock is ticking away. Slowly watching shift change yet again. Worst hospital ever.
I was in a terrible car accident and went to Blake trauma center. The nurses were great! Thanks to everyone who helped me during my stay!
Had to come here a couple of times for surgery. Staff is very friendly!
My girlfriend is currently being held there. Held because blake is not the hospital to go to if u want care. Caring is definitely not on their agenda. She has been admitted for 2 days and while she was in the er from 630 am to 330 pm they did all her testing in the er ct scan, multiple xrays, even a pregnancy test. No results have come back after this being day 3 of being here. My recommendation go to manatee hospital. Blake hospital is where you go if u want to die they will neglect and let you go slowly and with half a fak... read more
