Have a family member in ICU wonderful doctors nurses very caring top of their profession.
My experience this past week has proved that everyone has their opinion. Personally I have to say the care is great. I have been a patient since Mon. Its thurs now. The staff has been nothing but outstanding. Usually there will be someone you do not get along with I have not found that employee yet. I give them a 5 star rating. Will recommend highly. Thank you 3rd floor I would mention by name but afraid I will leave someone out you all are great. Frank room 364
I am sitting in emergency room (in the waiting room) in intense pain, all they did was take blood and tell me there really busy! No pain meds nothing for my nausea and vomiting, I was here last week, they Mis diagnosed me with gallstones.
This is awful! Been here for several days! Dr. Floyd is the floor doctor apparently is takes 5+ hours to respond to a page from the nurse asking for Tylenol. Very upset with service here. Night nurse is a complete jerk with attitude. Few years back this was a great place. Never coming here again.
Documented wrong shots near miss, attending physician talking to me about heart condition when I was there for kidney stones, and broken ct scanner meaning a ride with a technician who reeked of cigarette smoke and complained about the equipment all the way and the admitting nurse in the room not knowing how to find my primary physician in their data base after she had been admitting there for 8 years. Horrible place! They gave me a diagnosis for "Swimmer' ear" when it in reality a much more serious condition that took weeks to cure do to their negligence. Also when my mother was there they were more concerned about getting her money & getting her out the door then they were with her care. This hospital has gone way downhill. Another off topic issue ....The cafeteria is also FILTHY with many food safety hazards. (I counted 7 the last time I was there visiting someone) What kind of hospital runs a dirty kitchen. Well, I loved the care & attention this morning at Blake Hosp. ER. -- but did not love having kidney stone attack.
If this hospital exists for any reason, it certainly doesn't include patient care. Staff is rude as possible to patients. There is absolutely no listening to what the patient has to say. Hospital's only concern is with getting your money and getting you out!
