I paid for Republic Services a year in advance, from September - August. They cancelled my pickup effective March 31, 2022 and stated I would have a refund within 30 days. I have called three times, including this morning, to receive my refund. Today I was told it would be another 6-8 weeks before I would have my refund, because they have to manually cut a check for me due to the credit card I used to pay online last August has expired. After months of not picking up our trash, we canceled our service and switched! We canceled via phone in January! We got bills in the mail. We put messages on the **** saying we quit. Then this month, May, we get a rude email stating that we need to put out our dumpster so they can pick it up, and tell our 16 other neighbors to do the same. So I shared the email on social media. And low and behold, the neighbors agreed with us due to similar experiences!

My experience with REPUBLIC SERVICES in ******, ** has been awful!my mother in law passed away and I called to cancel the service. not only did they pick up for the entire month of January, they charge $140 to pick up THEIR containers.Just absolutely ridiculous. I don't know how they stay in business. she complained every month about them not picking up her garbage.STAY AWAY from using this company

Horrible customer service, they aren't friendly! They don't care about their customers. They charge you for things they don't give any warning for! ***** they are the only business for waste in **********.

Republic seems,to have jumped at the opportunity to price *****. No I won't pay your exorbitant fuel surcharge and I will definitely not pay you $30 to pick up your cart. If you want it, you can pick it up any time at your own expense.

I have been a customer for over 20 years. My last **** I paid was $127.44 for 3 months, After speaking to my next door neighbor, she said her **** for 3 months was for $36.00 with Republic services. She also spoke to other neighbors and everyone was paying a different rate. Some were paying $60, $80 and $100. I called customer service to find out about this billing practice. The first lady I spoke with told me she was going to share her screen and transfer me to a higher up. I was just transferred to another customer service... read more

We have been attempting to contact a legitimate responsible account manage at Republic Services. No one from the company response our concerns, or our issues. Our Recycle trash bin has not been pick up over two months and we are continuing being charge for the services. They Republic Services are now charging a $100.00 fuel surcharge for a once a week pick up and with that surcharge the recycle bin doesn't get pick up. The excuse Republic Services uses is that "Because of covid-C19" they are not allow to pick up the recycle.... read more

Trashy trash company. I called and cancelled my service and they picked up my trash can long before the new contract was set to start. They have been raising their prices every single quarter to where my new **** was gonna be 166. (Keep in mind last year when I started it was only 83!). So I did everything right, removed my autopay 2 weeks far in advance and removed all my credit card information. Cancelled service due to failed pick **** but still had to pay the same price. While cancelling the rep said there will be a $30 fee to pick up their container. Ok? 1st off its yours why am i paying YOU to pick it up? Whatever. Get the invoice $30 pickup fee, $5.95 admin fee and $17.95 enviro fee. Chatted w agent who said enviro fee is charged to maintain landfills. I said well this was an empty container pick up, this didnt go to the landfill. Doesnt matter. Lost that battle just because republic deems it so. Im so sick of ... read more
