Republic reps are rude and unprofessional. I was promised a one year contract at a price of $80 a quarter and they act like so never talked to anyone about this

I started my service in July 2021, within the first 3 months my trash and recycling pick-up had been missed several times. I had just moved and was getting settled in the house, so unfortunately I did not have a chance to call and report the missed pick-*** as I should have initially. Fast forward to January 2022, pick-*** are starting to get missed again. Failed to pick up garbage. Can is overflowing. Called Republic, was told pick up is scheduled for today. Not picked up today either. Called Republic again, was told Monday at the earliest for pick up. Asked what I'm supposed to do with my garbage until then. Answer was I don't know. Beginning to think this is a rip off company.

Republic Trash Service....I have had service with them for over 20 years; never been late on payment and paid more than the **** actually was.They went up about ***** in a month. I contacted them to terminate my service effective May 6,2022. They said they can't cancel service once a **** is generated. I have called twice and told that they will continue to p/u my trash (even though I told them I have a new trash service) and will p/u my can 6/4/22. This makes no sense to me. Cancellation and payment policy is a total joke. We canceled July 14, 2021 and last pick up July 29, 2021. We had our new service pick up July 22, 2021 which is ********************************************** We received a **** from Republic services August 20, 2021 Credit Balance $ ***** CR. I called **************** at and was told we would receive our credit six to eight weeks. my city trash pickup is done every Monday morning, this week it is now Tuesday night 815pm still not picked up! This would be the entire north side of the street was not picked up! I called customer service Monday afternoon and was assured they would be there by 7pm, they were not! I called again Tuesday, they said maybe we will get it later today if we have a truck in the area. they did not! Missed pick up on Fridays 5/6/22, **** the supervisor told me it will be picked up the next business day (Monday). I asked him to call me on Monday to verify...he was rude because I asked him to call me he told me I would have to give the driver until 7pm to pick up. I asked what to do if no show by 7pm all I got was call back on Tue. Now it's Tuesday 10th, 2022 and my trash is not picked up. Trash sits out gets tore up. Had to re bag this morning.
