I called to cancel my service with the May 10th and the representative informed me that I will be charged $100 for removal fee for containers. When I moved in they did charge me for containers also. I think its so ridiculous to be paying so much money for them to pick up the empty containers when someone is moving out.

I have been a loyal customer since **** for 1 ********************** Cart 95/96 gal residential service. I called a while back, maybe over a year to ask they were double billing me because my **** has 2 lifts per week. They assured me there is no mistake. I am submitting my review instead of filing a complaint about Republic Services because there is no hope in ever fixing the qualities that make Republic Services less than sub-abysmal service "professionals".Prior to Republic Services absorbing Randy's ************* Services, I never had any issues with garbage or customer service or billing. I decided to call my neighbors regarding the expensive costs of garbage and recycling removal. To my astonisment, I learned that my neighbors are paying approximately a quarter of what I am paying. I am paying $399 per quarter! When I called Republic Services to inquire into the discrepancy, I was told that the rate is dependent on the date that the contract starts. Over the past 3 months they have failed to pick up my trash consistently every week. It was only picked up once in the month of February. They missed a week in March and so far in the month of April they have missed it twice. I call every time and they say there is no reason for it and it will set you up for a pickup on Friday and it still does not get picked up. It is simply the worst service I have ever seen.

I had been a customer for 7 years, each year dealing with another $20-30 increase in cost. This year was an additional $60 and enough was enough. Especially after finding out my neighbors were paying almost half and doing so monthly. Republic has been a very unreliable and inconsistent company to work with over the years. They sneakily increase your monthly fee all while picking up trash less and less due to "delays", causing our bins to overflow regularly. Essentially you end up paying more for service that gets worse over time. They do not reimburse you for missed service, you just get charged more. It makes no sense. My family had trash services with Republic since we moved into our house. We were with this company for over 6 years and never paid less than $200/quarter for trash, recycling, and yard waste. In the middle of March I received our new invoice for services starting on 4/1/22 and after years of the **** slowly climbing, $382 was finally my breaking point. TRASHY , DISHONEST CUSTOMER SERVICE We never picked ********************, we ended up with them, when they bought out **** Waste Service.
