I am the ***************************************** wrong.they put me on the 3 years contract but the prices keep going up.I call and asked them why ? They said the contract just for guarantee service not for the prices ? The last three months they go up $25/month.and this month they charge me $100 more . They said because my dumpster is full (overage ) ?. Thats rip off (BS)

Called Republic Services on 04/28/2022 & spoke to a Lady who scheduled our Bulk Pickup for 05/03/2022. The Lady went over our items and explained in detail what to do w/ the ******************* prior to setting by the curb. At the end of the call We asked what time should we put the Bilk Items by the curb. The Lady explained that we could put the Bulk Items by the curb the night before on 05/02/2022. Republic Services might be the single worst trash company on this planet. They did not pick up our trash last week. Today was trash day and, lo and behold, they didn't pick it up this week either!!!!! On top of that, when they didn't pick up our trash the first week, I called them and they told me they would send someone by to pick it up on Thursday (that never happened). And to make it even worse, we have 1 trash bin when were are supposed to have 2. They were supposed to drop one off today. Can you what happened? It never ... read more

Republic Services has horrific customer service. They ripped the phone lines out of my house and it woke me up at which point I saw flashers and saw the Republic truck in front of my home with not another vehicle in sight! I didnt realize what had happened until hours later! They did not admit what they had done, were completely disrespectful when I called to complain about it, and refused to remedy the situation and take accountability. I was curious what rating Republic Services has with BBB and was shocked to see an A+ rating! How does a company that has almost nothing with 1 star reviews get an A+? Reading the reviews they reflect our recent experiences with this price gouging, poor customer service company. They almost doubled our rate in the past two years - $111/month to pick up one cart of trash! And then wanted to charge us $50 to pick up the cart (which we finally got waived after repeated phone calls). Told us the fee had been waived, then we woul... read more

We cancelled service in October 2021. We didn't even mind paying their large fee to get our container. However we had a balance on the account. Three phone calls and each time "The check is in the mail". Nope. Six months later and still no check.

They bought out the trash company I used. Since February I have had to contact them almost weekly to pick up my recycling. This is a service I pay for and they don't follow through! Its not worth the money they charge!

Apparently, this company's policy includes discriminatory practices which are hurtful and harmful to the community. When my **** continued to increase, I investigated the situation to see what others in my subdivision were paying. I discovered that I was paying twice as much as others for the same services!!!!!!!!!! After I called several times to complain, they lied and lied!!!!!! They are not to be trusted. Without notice my recycling rate almost doubled, in addition to this new fuel/environmental fee of $35.17. Thats an increase of over $40, making the total **** over $100 Recycling isnt even picked up weekly and this winter there was at least 4 weeks, maybe 6, where it wasnt picked up at all. No credits were offered for this. I was told by customer service this was my responsibility. I strongly disagree. Where is the accountability?
