Absolutely horrible customer service. Every department from customer service, management, and billing are difficult to work with. Countless lies from their team. Do NOT consider this company for garbage services.
This is the worst of the worst of garbage companies. It’s like the Welfare program. I live in Minnetonka Beach, where we anre forced to use republic, and evidently it’s their mission to give their residence the worst service possible at the cheapest price in the state of Minnesota. . Hopefully final update. I can not stand companies that just send you bills and collection notices and final demand letters after you close your account. I called the customer service line, I put in my number for a call back. Never heard back. Today I got a final demand letter saying they are going to send my account to collections if not paid. Finally got to a representative who proved my account was closed and that they had a “billing error”. So hopefully this 3 month saga is finally over. Be careful. Use anyone but repub... read more
Update January 27th 2016. I have gotten multiple calls saying my service is past due. I canceled services paid the pick cart fee and they are still trying to send me bills for service that were canceled. If this continues I’m might hire a lawyer out of principle because I’m sick of these big companies not taking responsibility for how they treat former customers. Again if they did. Update January 2026. I responded to the email they provided in their response. They never reached back out. They don’t care about customer service. The reason I left is they were charging $174.00 a quarter. Found a company that does the same exact service for $78.00. Again. Had to cancel due to their outrageous pricing then they charged me to pick up THEIR garbage can or threatened late fees and collections.
