One of the bathrooms faucets got stuck and the Constellation plumber tech came. He requested to buy a new faucet and he will be rescheduled to come and replace the old one. Since this service was not covered under the policy, he specified three times the amount to be paid. Several weeks later, the technician came and replace the faucet (that left a leaking within the cabinet and required another visit) and the whole stipulated amount was paid. Horrible. Do not use them. It might seem convenient to go with formally BGE but don't do it. I regret not taking the reviews seriously and not taking the time to find another company. We had them install a brand new HVAC. Eight weeks in and it stopped working. A coil is leaking. Obviously no QA done on the day of installation. No ETA or follow up about the arrival is a new coil or when it can replaced during one is the hottest summers on record. Their technicians are inept and rude. They have no idea what they are doing. I signed up in 2017, they came, everything was fine - the service itself was acceptable. Fast forward to now, and my Carrier Infinity touchpad is not registering touches in the corner anymore, still functional - but annoying. I call them up, and they tell me they are sending someone over. Then they call me back, and tell me it's cancelled - because my account has a balance on it and that I need to pay the balance before I can get todays service call. Then they ask me for over $2300 in "unpaid dues" to come do a warranty ... read more

Do not use this company. I have canceled my home service plan more than once - and keep getting charged. Clearly this is a pattern with this company. Not only was the service done incorrectly with a new water heater install (that I had to pay someone else to correct to meet code requirements), they just keep charging. Customer services transfers you, hangs up, doesn't return calls or emails, or makes you believe it was taken care of - when it wasn't.

The whole experience with bge home constellation was horrible. The salesman was rude and intimidating . The unit purchased was an over kill for what the house called for. My parents who are in their eighties ,chose this company with the thought it was the company who they pay their bill to. This is very deceptive to elderly people who feel comfortable only by misleading them to a false feeling of security. I would give them no stars if I could. Worst customer service ever. Instead of telling me my service contract was canceled they continued to take my electronic payments for two years. I have called repeatedly to speak to Sabrina about a refund which I still have not received. She asked if I wanted another service contract the first time and I said yes and paid. I tried making an appt today for AC that is not working and was told my contract would not begin until June 25th. I am paying someone else to fix it. Now on top of th... read more

Scam artist. In early February of 22 BGE Home sent out someone out (older man in his 60s)to inspect our Furnace. I have my 91 year old Mom living with Me. The Man said that because there was slight rust a the bottom of the Cabinet the whole unit had to be Replaced because gas will escape from the Bottom. I know Gases Rise and I told him the Cabinet isn't even sealed. He looked me in the Eyes and said the Cabinet was sealed. I'm thinking the Burners needed oxygen to burn . But he said he has to shut the Furnace down in 20 deg... read more

We had windows replaced 4 years ago that were supposed to be high quality and would help keep our home warmer. (We paid $750 ea. for these windows and they are supposed to have a life time warranty.) Well these windows are leaking air and some of the weather stripping is coming off. So, we called and they sent this guy out to look at them. Basically, what he said was that they were a business and couldn't just replace the windows because they would be losing money. Wow!! Instead of calling or canceling policy for underpayment BGE Home continued to take monthly electronic checks for over 3 years. Any other business with great customer service would have canceled the policy after not receiving the correct amount billed! So if I never called to end the policy or to submit a home warranty claim, I would not have know a debt was accruing.
