Not just for women Bernards Hair Design & Spa is not just for women! I have been there twice and both times was really pleased with how comfortable they make men feel there. They have excellent hair stylest that work well with all types of hair. They also offer spa treatments, I haven't tried them yet but will next time I'm there. The wait time isn't too bad if you call ahead and make an appointment. They don't care too much for walk ins. PROS: nice salon CONS: none that I saw
Excellent massage, defenitely recommended! 4/16/08 @ the Cherry Hill, NJ location - Got the 60 minute signature massage which provided neck-to-toe, long stroke massage for $60.00 (not incl. tax & tip). Mellissa was my masseuse and she was very professional and on the dot 60 minutes. I didn't have to wait once I got to my appointment (i was a few minutes late myself). Not happy... I too had bought a groupon for Bernard's and have been there before. While the service is good, it is not a very welcoming salon and the prices tend to be high so I only go there when I have a groupon, I had forgoton I bought one in the summer and got an email from groupon that it was expiring soon. So I call to make my appointment for later this week for a massage, mani and pedi. bernards haircut i used bethany for my haircut, she is something else when i go into see here she is wonderful very friendly and always willing to assist me when i have absolutly no idea as to how to cut my hair, i have reccomended her to others and find this establishment to be top class always able to help with suggestions and appointments at all different times of the day as i need..
wow! The massage was wonderful with Rachael D. The staff was so friendly. The shampoo ladies now how to give a great shampoo!!! My haircut with Che Che was great! A real pro in the business!! Pricing is excellent - a true get away without breaking your bank!!
Bad people skills detract from the experience I went to Bernard's for years for color and highlights - but I only put up with it because I was co-dependent on my colorist. On a good day, the stylists treat customers indifferently. The place has kind of a soap opera personality with lots of favoritism, double-crossing, and hurt feelings. Star quality salon!! Since the birth of the Thomas Bernards Hair salon, Now called Bernards, I have always, and I mean always been treated with the best of services. The staff, management, and overall ambience is upscale.I have been to quite a few salons, but this one is one of the best in South Jersey. Great job Anthony! Keep up the good work. salon This is not the place to go to if you are looking to save a few dollars. It is quite pricey but the service is great and the atmosphere is very relaxing. It can get somewhat busy here at certain times of the year and it is good if you are a regular customer. I have been very pleased with my hair color and have received compliments
Bernard's Salon & Day Spa is AWESOME!!!! My 1st visit was to use a gift certificate,and that's where I found "home". I am a former mgr. of a salon&spa. I travel from the shore area for my highlights & cuts. I was fortunate to go to both locations, where I met the mgr. of Marlton & the owner at Cherry Hill, NJ. What more can I say. I now go with my daughter, when possible, who also lives at the shore. Rosa does my color & Dana does my cuts. I hope to include a facial on my next trip!!!.
