The vet techs and the counter girls are amazing! They are so caring and so kind. Many people complain about the cost......it's emergency care people, around the clock care. Unfortunately we lost our cat, chose to end his suffering. But they kept him over the weekend till I could have my regular vet cremate him. They do offer the service their, it was my choice to transfer him. He was presented to me in a classy package and surprise footprints. I have been here more than once cuz my animals are crazy maniacs. I have never encountered anyone there who wasn't helpful and friendly. Their staff is great, but their prices are high. That's the price you pay when something happens to your baby after hours. Always a good and comforting experience with staff. Thanks for helping with my "kids"!!
It was a very hard weekend for us. Today we had to make the decision to say goodbye to our sweet cat Farf. Dr. Noble was so comforting and kind and everyone there took such incredible care of her. We knew we had to make the hard decision, which is never ever easy but you explained everything and were so gentle with our little girl, we miss her desperately, but thank you to all of the staff and especially Dr. Noble.
We had to take our dog here after she choked on a piece of meat. The staff was wonderful; they saved her life. I would not hesitate to use their services again (but I hope I never have to).
We found ourselves here Christmas Day with our dog, she had lost control of 3 of her legs and an extremely droopy eye. We were very concerned and everyone was so kind and made us feel she was in good hands. Dr. Noble was extremely good and explained everything to us, our dog needed an MRI as soon as possible. They sent us directly to University of Pennsylvania Veterinary Hospital where she was diagnosed with a FCE stroke. We were so grateful they were open and staff was so attentive on a Holiday. We had a late night emergency when our cat Bubba threw a blood clot that paralyzed his back legs. Because of his heart disease and a strong possibility of more clots and the pain involved, together with the doctor we decided to say goodbye to our boy and put him out of his pain. Dr. Reis was absolutely wonderful. She truly cares about her patients and their families. She gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye, then sat with me until i was ready to part with my baby. I was thoroughly impressed and pleased with the professionalism, care and compassion shown toward my dog, as well as myself during our emergency. We had to take our Pit Bull for an allergic reaction on New Years Day, also a Sunday, and they were the only place open to accommodate. The staff and doctor were very knowledgeable and made sure my fiancé and I understood everything. I would highly recommend this service to anyone required emergency veterinary care! We had to take Bella my Mom's 7 year old dog here yesterday. We were very happy with the service we got. The Dr confirmed pancreatitis as what my Mom's regular vet thought it might be. They have been very friendly every time my mom calls to find out how Bella is. As I read the reviews I must say pets are investments. They can be expensive just like humans.
