Thank you so much for the kind way you treated both us and our great dane Ruby on saturday night. We knew the end was near, but the time came faster than we thought. The care the whole staff gave us, from our first call to our exit was fantastic. A few years ago, we had to do the same with our greyhound Denim and we were treated with the same care and concern. Thank you so very much.
That monster of a surgeon severely butchered my dog. He had no clue what he was doing and he should have just told me instead of throwing his superiority complex at me. He treated me with 0 respect and I tolerated it because I was desperate for someone to help my dog. 10k later, I picked my baby up and 8 hours after I took him home, a disc herniated in his neck, leaving him in horrific pain and from the neck down he was unable to move. I had to take him back in to be put to sleep. My heart will forever be broken from my loss... read more
The staff members and doctor were helpful. I am grateful for the treatment and medications they prescribed for my dog. I would recommend this animal hospital to anyone need emergency care for their pet.l
When I took my sweet baby girl Tinkerbell there the vet made me realize how sick she really was. Something her actual vet did not do. ALL the staff are very caring, compassionate and understanding. I now know to find another vet as good as they are here. I made the most difficult choice last night but good one to take her there to be pain free and at peace. I did not handle it well at all and do apologize to the staff for but if it weren't for my mother and them I would've collapsed. Thank you all for caring greatly for my t... read more
My regular vet recently referred me to BAERC because my cat had ingested a foreign body of some sort. He was very sick and l had the option of leaving him with my vet overnight, but they would not be staffed after 10pm. Since BAERC has a vet and techs on site 24/7 I rushed over to Lancaster Ave. I was a mess when I got there, but River at the front desk was very caring and compassionate (sorry for the crying). I had a bit of a wait, but Dr. Lee did the examination and was very patient with me. He was also able to do life-sav... read more
I am so appreciative that BAERC exists! We do not have emergency vet care in our area (Schuylkill County) and this facility has been a Godsend to me and several of my pets through the years-not to mention the specialty services they offer too! The doctors have always been thorough with examinations and services, and compassionate, making some difficult decisions a bit easier. The support staff has always been VERY supportive and kind as well, and this includes the receptionists. Specialty and emergency services always are a ... read more
I'm not sure how i truly feel about this place. I took my pup for what I knew was parvo. When i called the lady was a total Witch (to keep it clean) caught a nasty attitude with me about why my dog hadn't been vaccinated and how much it would cost. Once I got there we stood outside waiting for what seemed to be forever to get paper work started. Again they reminded me about the cost. Once the test came back i was sent with my pup to the isolation room. The vet came in and very condescending tone about why hadn't my dog been ... read more
Thank you for comforting us during a time of sorrow when having to have our family dog put down this morning.
It's all about the money here, no caring, rough handling, pathetic.
