Berks animal emergency. Where dogs with poor credit scores die. This place is a serious fucking joke, and if you love your animals....youll take them over to mountain shadow vet hospital and skip these bastards who, and i quote "youd better start to beg borrow and steal". Actual fucking quote from these heartless bastards. Seriously, if you want your animal to die this is the place to go. If you love them, take them over to mountain shadow.
The staff went above & beyond for us. Dudley,our Beagle/Basset went from his normal activities,walking , eating to barely moving his eyes. After tests & ultrasound we came to realize that Dudley had a mass in his abdomen & swollen Lymph nodes. Dudley was kept comfortable to be able to come home with us to spend his last few hours before crossing "Rainbow Bridge" We are furever grateful for the care & compassion we recieved from Dr. J Palaigos & Staff. Every single person that I came in contact with that works here was very kind and compassionate. They allowed me to grieve & were so kind. That meant the world to me that they treated Casey as if she was their dog.
We had to take our 17 year black lab sirrus at Christmas to put him down and now we had to bring Luna our blue heeler to get help cause she got really sick.
We transferred our beloved Kobe to Berks Animal Emergency Center from our vet as he was having trouble breathing. He was diagnosed with Lupus 2 wks ago and went down hill fast. We knew his condition was not good but felt we owed it to him to give him the night. Drs. Noble & Reis and the staff were compassionate, caring and understanding of how much he meant to us.
