I used their services and when returning the equipment I was demanded to take the equipment somewhere else for them, when I was already in the designated area for returns. I went through the experience of having to confront the emploeye and refuse to do what he wanted me to do, which is something I never do. They should train their employees better.

If i could give UHaul a negative number i would. A couple months ago i had reserved a truck to move my stuff from one house to the next, nothing special, everyone does it. Turned out i didnt end up needing it so i canceled within the alotted time, again, no biggie. For the following 1.5 months i dealt with being charged time and time again for services and equipment by this company. It amounted to literally OVER $2,000. In the end. We were rented a truck with no tread on the tires, dry rot and metal showing. When the tires started sparking, and it was obvious a blow out was about to happen we called roadside assistance. It took almost 3 hours to get the tires changed. We have been given a less than 50% refund and told that there is no issue since we were able to "complete our move." There has been no fault admitted and no assurance made that this location will be investigated for not following safety protocol.

On 10-31-17 I rented a truck from this U-Haul location. While backing up I damaged the passenger side mirror on a tree. When I returned to U-Haul, they refused to take my insurance information and required that I pay in full for the damages right then and there. I told them I needed to speak to my insurance company, because that’s who I would be going through, and I was told that it’s “not their problem” if I go through my insurance company, it’s my problem. Horrible customer service. The equipment was not guaranteed. When I finally got around to complainging they did not appologize. I have used uhaul several times. Will not use again due to the lack of care. Moving is stressful enough. They just made it worse!

I have been trying resolve an issue with Uhaul for 3 weeks. My most recent contact was with the ADVP Ray S****. Terrible. I ordered a hitch and wiring system and scheduled the installation at a local Uhaul facility. Took time off from work to have it installed and when I got to the facility they indicated that it hadn't arrived yet? I requested a 10 ft uhaul to go from box elder sd to billings mt. I did not find the spot on the site to make it a one way and talked with the dispatcher and and told them. Then she said they did not have a 10 ft but a 26 ft and gave that to me for a ten foot price and I was charged the 26 ft truck and a wrong destination charge. After fighting it for two weeks, They waved the wrong destination charge but still charged me for the 26 ft. I will no longer use uhaul.

I have used UHaul multiple times for moving purposes and have NEVER had such a horrible experience than I did yesterday. The truck they provided me was the wrong length and I was not made aware of it. It was also hooked up to a battery charger in the parking lot which they had to unconnect for us to leave. Extremely unprofessional staff at the location with hardly enough people working to accommodate the volume of reservations they allow.
