I scheduled a hitch installation two weeks ago online to be performed on Saturday, the 18th. I was told I would get a call to schedule the time. I never received a call and had to end up making the call myself whereby I was told to come in at 11 AM. Upon arriving I had to wait for the installer to get in as I was about ten minutes early. The location was good enough. What I don't appreciate is the fact that I was given a pickup location across the city, from where I had originally booked it. I realize that pickup locations are not guaranteed but being told I have to go across the city (Toronto, not a small little town) to pick up the moving vehicle, downtown, on a Saturday, was not a great experience. Sadly, we used Uhaul to move once before with their pods and everything went smoothly. I guess that’s the difference between east coast and west coast. We called Uhaul on 3/6 to schedule 2 pods to be dropped off on 3/21 and picked up on 3/23. We were told it would have to go through a 3rd party trucking company and they would be 2 feet off the ground on a flat bed and we’d have to push stuff up a ramp.
