HORRIBLE COMPANY. Second time a reserved trailer wasn't available for pickup. They switched it and didn't notify me and ITS MOVE DAY. Then promised a trailer at different location across town and it wasn't there. To top it off they raisED the price and gave me an open trailer. This company has no respect for customers and doesn't care that they are so disrespectful.
Horrible first experience and Horrible customer service
UHaul's UBox website page says, "Flexible *** Use as many containers as you need at origin or destination. When you are ready, WE SHIP THEM TO YOUR NEW HOME ACROSS TOWN OR ACROSS THE WORLD." We rented a 30 foot uhaul to move with, they were supposed to call us 4 days before the reservation. 4-3-then 2 days before the move they failed to contact us. So we called and they moved the time and location of the pick up past the time we could move. When we called they were extremely rude and basically just said they had the right to do it. 0/5 stars do not do business with them.
The u-haul at 3100 Barksdale Blvd advertises 19.95 per day. I used the smallest truck for a 24 hour period. Returning the truck to the same location and it cost $400.00.

I made a reservation for a 6x12 trailer with ramp. A notification was sent to me after the order the day I was supposed to pick up that the trailer would not be available, that a 5x8 with no ramp was though. It also said that the trailer I requested was available the next day at 7am and that I was scheduled for pickup then. Ok, that's REAL inconvenient for my needs, but this happens. Not only did the cancel the wrong reservation, they put 4 reservations in the system, made us go almost an hour out of our way and then take it back to the same location, they also double charged us, so over $315, cant get a manager to return our call, argued with me that the location that I made the new reservation didn't carry the 26 ft truck yet there was one there that was supposed to be ours that was rented out to another because again, the wrong reservation was cancelled. Friday, April 21st I was in need of a U-Haul, it was after hours so I decided I would try out the after hours U-Haul program. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! We made the reservation online, picked up the truck and thought it was a great idea, was super easy and very smooth. We loaded up the truck, unloaded it at the new location and went back to return the truck. Horrible service. We made a reservation online on March 12th for a moving truck to be picked up March 31 for our move the following day. On March 30 (two days before our move) I was called by a U-Haul location in Merritt, BC which is two hours one way from where we live, to tell us that there were no trucks of any size available in the lower mainland and that Merritt was our closest pick up location.
