This business is the worst. They hold you accountable for someone elses debt by placing an e alert which is next to impossible to remove. I didnt sign the contract someone else did. Now i cant rent because he has a balance that they are forcing me to pay in order to rent! Dont even give them your underwear color or they wilk hold you responsible in the future for someone elses contract! Run dont walk from this company

I came into the Candler Rd. location where I waited for Crystal J******- whom is the owner no less- to get off of a phone call wasn't greeted or acknowledged. After waiting and getting everything paid for got the key to a truck that was in the back of a row of trucks. continuously went back and forth into the building asking for assistance no one came out to help. I have a claim ********** that I'm told is my fault. The trailer I used had ripped the bumper off my car and becuase it wasn't loaded in front of a uhaul rep I'm being told its my fault and uhaul probably isn't going to cover it. Isn't that what the insurance is for? Its UHAULS trailer. I was working with Aureliano C***** and it was terrible customer service. Not only did he not return any of my phone calls (I'd have to call him back multiple times), but even when he was looking at my file he would call me by another name. H... read more

I recently had to contact U-Haul International due to an "eAlert" on my file, supposedly for an outstanding fee. The representative I spoke with, by the name of Jocelyn G*****, had advised me this was due to an outstanding balance due to mileage and the credit card used at the time did not approve the full amount. I was aware of the outstanding charge at the time of the original reservation, and once advised of the outstanding balance, had paid for the balance in cash. This was August 2013. I am EXTREMELY disappointed with my experience with the Uhaul on Abercorn St. in Savannah, GA. I went to this location on March 6, 2018 to rent a pickup truck for a few hours in order to move a couch from my apartment. When I went in, I approached the desk and spoke with a male associate. His demeanor was noticeably uninterested right off the bat. I told him I was looking to rent a pickup truck for the afternoon and he told me one was available. My daughter and I had a nightmare experience that will keep me from ever doing business with U-Haul again. I have rented about 20 times with U-Haul over the years, but will not be doing business with them again after this weekend. My daughter needed to move from her apartment this weekend, but after being out of town all week, she forgot to book a truck. I have used U Haul quite a bit over the past years. On 3/21/2018 I reserved a 20' ft truck to do an in town move. I reserved the truck online using my cell phone. I received the confirmation email stating the location I requested because it was way closer than the options I was given. So, on 3/16/2018, i went to the location I specified on my reservation. Their driver from their Feasterville, PA location hit me at a high rate of speed. One follow up from them. Nothing more from them or their insurance company. Neither Tom, their manager, or their insurance company cares enough to get back to me. Sad that I have to involve my insurance company and other resources to get anywhere with them. Says a lot about their lack of professionalism.

We will never rent from UHaul again. We were almost charged fees for things we didn't even know we needed to do! No one told us we had to sweep out the van. Almost got a $30 charge for that. But what is truly wrong is that my receipt says I paid $69.76. My bank account says I paid $88.75. Excuse me!!?? When I called to inquire, the lady at the Uhaul place said "you will be refunded the extra, but it might take a few weeks." That is unacceptable. Why am I being charged extra.
