Inspired by his travels across Italy, Joe Bastianich opened Becco with his mom Lidia to much fanfare. The word Becco comes from the Italian verb beccare, meaning "to nibble." A great addition to Broadway's dining alternatives, the lovely restaurant is a popular pit stop for theater-goers. Sample their delectable prix-fixe pasta menu and the kitchen's redefinition of Italian flavors with an impressive wine list and seasonal cocktails.

Absolutely Wonderful staff and delicious food. The best seafood risotto I have had and I'm from Maine! Don't miss on the desserts. Every recommendation the waiters made was exeptional!
Meatball app was maybe the best I've ever tasted, and I've had a lot of meatballs in my life! Short ribs were wonderful: perfectly prepared! The $29 wine was excellent, they could have charged $50 for it. The service was great: go see Luigi, he'll take care of you!
We arrived in time for our reservation and were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and was mostly helpful. My hubby lived the chicken parm but was disappointed that it didn't come with a side of pasta the way most restaurants serve. I ordered the fried mozzarella in carrozza which I was severely disappointed with its size. I had asked the server about the size of the plate to see if it was shareable but he just explained what it was which I knew from reading the description. I asked again about the size and he said ... read more
Been here before and it was great. Tonight was very disappointing. Halibut was way over cooked and dry. No cannoli available for dessert. Telling me they had it last night isn't helpful. My hubbys pasta trio and ok but penne was way undercooked. Must have been an off night. They apologized and I'll definitely give them another try. Oh well.....
We enjoyed our visit so much we came back the next day. Staff is professional and the food is delish. I had the pasta both nights. I told them what wine and I like and they suggested I try the Volpe- I am so glad I did! We were lucly enough to habe Charles as our server both times. You cannot go wrong with Becco.
Meatballs as appetizer is always a good choice, nice selection of wines and beers and the daily pasta special you can't go wrong with, just don't count your carbs.
Food and service were incredible. Slipped in during the pre show rush. Thanks to Seth and Bartender Tim for the great time!
The hostess was not nice at all, it was sad because foods were all excellent. Just service & serving speed were over the top AWEFUL. It took us 1 hour to get first food served on the table after being seated. Besides, it took 2 hours to get main served...and the hostess spoke too fast (most likely) not to be understood though I'd actually asked her to speak slower.
Love the all you can eat pasta! The service was amazing
